Animism is the knowledge that 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. Everything — not only humans or other “living things” such as animals, plants, and insects — but also rivers, lakes, rocks, mountains, the wind, the sky, and even human creations like tools and buildings. As indigenous religions around the globe have been displaced by dominant monotheist religions, these belief systems were lost in many places. Today, animism primarily lives on in the cultures of Indigenous Americans, Australians, and other communities. But it is also being reclaimed by those of us whose ancestors lost connection with the old ways — including modern pagans and witches. Witches work with all kinds of tools: candles, crystals, herbs, bones, runes, tarot cards, cauldrons, chalices, knives, twine, scissors. But to an animist witch, these tools are more than just tools — they are beings 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. These beings are not mere “things” that can be controlled or exploited; they are sacred spirit allies that we build relationships and actively collaborate with. I have taken thousands of photographs over the past decade, and I have always focused my attention on this collection of photographs. It seemed to give me a feeling of the mystery of time. This image describes a world we don't know about, or they're sinking into the surface of time.
When I made the realisation that I am a spirit in a human body having a human experience NOT a human having a spiritual experience, completely changed how I understood that all I have been through, am going through and will ever go through in the future is all part of my souls journey. My spiritual awakening was quite a turbulent time in my life. I had no one I could talk to about what was going on and if I attempted everyone would of thought was I was crazy. YELO GONE WILD (everyday) — นิทรรศการศิลปะสะท้อนมุมมองนิสัยภายในตัวเรา นับเป็นการจัดนิทรรศการรอบที่ 3 แล้ว สำหรับผลงาน I GONE WILD (everyday) โดยกลุ่มศิลปิน Living Spirits ที่ได้เนรมิต Space ให้การเป็นงานศิลปะที่จะเปรียบเทียบเหตุการณ์ในชีวิตประจำวันของเรากับมุมมองภาพสะท้อนของสัตว์ต่างๆ ซึ่งร่วมถึงคำอุทรณ์ที่เราใช้ครั้งในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน เพื่อนๆ อาจเคยเห็นนิทรรศการนี้ผ่านตากันมาบ้างแล้ว อาจเป็นการจัดแสดงในสถานที่ก่อน ๆ ในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะมีพื้นที่นิทรรศการสำหรับจัดวางรูปภาพ และงานประติมากรรมแล้ว ยังมีพื้นที่ให้เพื่อนๆ ได้ค้นหาความเป็นสัตว์ที่แอบซ่อนอยู่ในตัวคุณอีกด้วย ซึ่งเราสามารถเข้าไปเล่นและถ่ายรูปเก๋ๆ พร้อมกับน้องสัตว์สุดน่ารักกันได้ หลังจากเดินชมนิทรรศการเสร็จแล้ว ก็แวะหาเครื่องดื่มเย็นๆ ภายใน Yelo House พักกันซักนิดนึง ถ้าสังเกตดีๆ ก็จะพบสติ๊กเกอร์สัตว์น่ารักๆ ติดแถมมาบนแก้วด้วย ขอบอกว่าเป็นรุ่นพิเศษในช่วงจัดแสดงนิทรรศการเท่านั้น ก่อนกลับบ้านหากใครประทับใจในสัตว์ตัวไหน ก็สามารถพาน้องๆ กลับไปดูแลกันได้ด้วยนะ ได้ยินมาว่ามีการเพิ่มคอลเลกชันใหม่จากการจัดแสดงคราวก่อนที่ดูน่ารักกว่าเดิม ❗ กิจกรรมเฉพาะแฟนเพจ Journey i เพียงบอกกับสตาฟหน้างานว่ามาจากเพจ Journey i รับของที่ระลึกน้องสัตว์สุดน่ารักฟรี! — จำกัดเพียง 30 ท่านแรกเท่านั้น มาช้าหมดก่อนไม่รู้ด้วยนะ!! ‼ กิจกรรมสำหรับคนรักกล้องฟิล์ม Film Shot Challenge ติดตามรายละเอียดได้ที่: https://bit.ly/2R08mIl . ▪️ YELO GONE WILD (everyday) — YELO House at Bangkok, Thailand ▪️ 25 Dec 2019 - 30 JAN 2020 ▪️ https://www.facebook.com/events/2671560659626713 #journeyi #artinstallation #yelogonewildeverday #livingspirits #lvsp #yelohouse นางแบบ: ice.chn
