Oggi vi presentiamo l'opera di @francesco_de_bernardi, esposta nella mostra INCURABILE ✨ Come sempre, vi aspettiamo giovedì, venerdì e sabato, nel pomeriggio. 💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊 Francesco De Bernardi "Thinking about what made you feel good is comforting 1", 2023 inchiostro su carta, 49x40x4 cm – courtesy l’artista e Galleria Triangolo, Cremona 💊 L’ipocondria, una preoccupazione eccessiva riguardo la propria salute e la possibilità di sviluppare malattie, è uno dei temi ricorrenti nella ricerca di Francesco De Bernardi. Il disegno qui presentato è parte di una serie di opere realizzate per la sua personale del 2023 al Café des Glaces, a Tonnerre, in Francia, al centro del cui progetto vi era una scultura, un personaggio, accompagnato dai due soggetti che osserviamo, dall’artista definiti come le personificazioni di due stati d’animo caratteristici dell’ipocondriaco: l’insicurezza e la malinconia. Il cane, con il compito di raccontare la cosiddetta melancolia ipocondriaca, volta le spalle allo spettatore, intento a cercare languido lo sguardo del secondo personaggio. A questi, estrema sintesi di una figura umanoide, spetta il compito di mettere in scena l’insicurezza che, com’è solita fare, punta la propria lente su quella stessa malinconia, rendendo le sue fauci sempre più grandi, più vicine a sé. In Hong Kong history, they are regarded as the pioneers of Hong Kong in this no man's land everyone can actively act as pioneers. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Michigan State University and a Master of Design in Designed Objects degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Combining her knowledge of sculpture and designed objects, Chatterley has been investigating the division and overlap of form, function, materiality, and meaning between these two fields. 프로젝트팀 XXX는 현대 사회가 젊고 새로운 것을 지향하는 “Anti-aging”이라는 기치 아래 작동한다고 보았다. “Anti-aging”이라는 항상성은 도시가 탄생하고 소멸하는 메커니즘이며, 노인 세대가 달성할 수 없음에도 불구하고 사회가 이들에게 요구하는 기준이라는 것이다. 오래된 도시는 동시대의 경제 논리 속에서 재개발 지역이라는 이름을 부여 받으며, 노인은 한 때 사회를 지탱하는 핵심 구성원이었다가 나이듦에 따라 변두리로 밀려난다. XXX는 노인 세대와 도시에 “Anti-aging”이 필요하다고 간주하는 시각에서 비껴나, 이들 삶이 그리는 숨결의 리듬에서 생성과 소멸을 결정짓는 또 다른 작동방식의 가능성을 찾고자 한다. 전시는 <오래된 집>. <일만 섬의 집>,

프로젝트팀 XXX는 현대 사회가 젊고 새로운 것을 지향하는 “Anti-aging”이라는 기치 아래 작동한다고 보았다. “Anti-aging”이라는 항상성은 도시가 탄생하고 소멸하는 메커니즘이며, 노인 세대가 달성할 수 없음에도 불구하고 사회가 이들에게 요구하는 기준이라는 것이다. 오래된 도시는 동시대의 경제 논리 속에서 재개발 지역이라는 이름을 부여 받으며, 노인은 한 때 사회를 지탱하는 핵심 구성원이었다가 나이듦에 따라 변두리로 밀려난다. XXX는 노인 세대와 도시에 “Anti-aging”이 필요하다고 간주하는 시각에서 비껴나, 이들 삶이 그리는 숨결의 리듬에서 생성과 소멸을 결정짓는 또 다른 작동방식의 가능성을 찾고자 한다. 전시는 <오래된 집>. <일만 섬의 집>,

The player moves through the universe of self-denial, where JesperPer must travel from the countryside to the city to regain attention through monologues and endless self-righteousness 🧳 As riders of the passage, the audience will play their way through the different scenarios of the book over two evenings. The audience collectively determines the direction of our protagonist. It is the audience who will ultimately decide JesperPer's fate through dice rolls and important decisions 🪄 The two game sessions will take place in Gallery 2 at Kunsthal Aarhus, staged in Benjamin Asger Krog Møller's installation "De lånt fjer", which in gestures as bombastic as JesperPer's maps an individual artist's life as an artist encircled by various institutional and familial image streams. The roleplaying game is part of the performative programme at this year's graduation exhibition "Passage" by Naja Zethner and Benjamin Asger Krog Møller. The two game sessions takes place on May 14th and May 16th, between 15:00 and 17:30. Should the audience lose the game during the first session, we will stop and start again on the 16th. The visual artists Gustav Hooge & Selina Rom Andersen are behind the role-playing book, and they will act as gamemasters during the two sessions. My creative process consists of two phases. The first is without conscious thought, quick, energised mark making…random, uninhibited, chaotic. The second is conscious, thoughtful placement of form in existing spaces left behind …contemplative, considered. It is rather like a relationship with two opposite sides of the same muse. One side is instinctive, flashing like lightening, impetuous, responsible to no one. The other is tentative, methodical, patient, responsible for me. Between them and myself, we find a visual solution in every artwork. What the one has instigated, the other helps me to understand. I need both in my process…actually they are my process. I witness and facilitate.
