CIAO SONO SCARLETH! "Nonostante tutto" In quattro mesi avevo perso 14 kg e poco dopo ho dovuto fare la chemioterapia. I primi sei mesi grazie a una sana alimentazione e all'integrazione naturale approvata da i miei oncologi sono rimasta stabile nel peso, eppure facevo cortisone. Poi arrivo la mastectomia radicale e una terapia anche più forte altri sei mesi, con aumento anche del cortisone. Since starting cortisone medication, a medicine that kept me alive but also with very bad side effects, my face started swelling up like crazy. It’s one of the most common side-effects called ‘moon face’. 🌝 This moon face made me very anxious, made me not recognize myself anymore in the mirror to the point where I was even too scared to meet up with friends who hadn’t seen me for a while.
