10 years ago we pleaded with God to allow our daughter to live, to allow her to continue to grow safe in my womb until she was developed enough to survive. We did not pray alone. The body of Christ surrounded us with faithful prayers. But God had other plans for our daughter’s life. On May 23rd, 2014 Faith Isabella passed from our arms into the arms of Jesus. I am all too familiar with making choices to align with my happiness. I have had to summon more courage than I thought was possible to make changes that were literally a leap of faith. And even during those hard times, the thing that always kept me going was that I knew what I needed in my life to be happy and I was willing to make the necessary choices to get to it. I have made choices for my happiness at different times in my life that surprised people. Choices that scared me and caused me to second guess myself, choices that were merely a giant leap of faith. But I have always trusted in the divine plan for me. I know God will take care of me. I know he sees where I cannot and I trust that. I make my happiness my priority. It is my responsibility and it is my choice to live a life that aligns with my highest good. I believe anyone can live this way, if I can you can. It truly is a choice to be around people and have things in your life that make you happy or align with your positive mindset. I hope you are finding those things for you as well. Love you! The Israelites were held captive in Egypt for over 400 years. They never stopped crying out to God in prayer. At just the right time, God raised up Moses whom He would use to deliver them from the hands of Pharaoh. When we call out to Jesus in prayer, the Spirit starts moving. Yesterday I had the most amazing opportunity to take another step toward my dream and it was everything I could have imagined and more. He is Risen! ✨️ The Easter season has always held a special place in my heart but this year it holds even more! 🩵 Because our Savior, Jesus Christ, overcame death so can we. I've had a lot of bittersweet emotions this week. Holidays and 'firsts' bring both excitement and sadness! I miss my Bodie boy so much and often wish things were different but at the same time i have so much gratitude, peace, and comfort! It's hard to have two opposite emotions co-exist but i'm learning to live that way and accept that it is okay! I can have moments of sadness and still have the deepest gratitude for my Savior at the same time! ❤️ we often think this OR that but what if we replace the OR with AND... this AND that! I KNOW my Savior lives. I know if we seek Him, even in our darkest hours we can find Him but we must do our part! I used to ask why me all of the time. And then it finally clicked that the answer is because it is meant for me. Just because something that pushes us to transform into a better version of ourselves is hard doesn’t mean we should push it away. We can’t control everything that happens to us but we can control our response. And when we respond with gratitude—and I don’t mean rainbows and butterflies and everything is great kind of gratitude— I mean a sense of gratitude that we know that what is happening to us is going to make us so much better, that’s when we flip the narrative and become in control of our lives. We are all a culmination of what has happened to us. Imagine yourself as whole and not broken, then imagine each thing that has happened to you as a smaller piece of the whole. Each thing filling up the space to make you MORE COMPLETE and not more broken. Start this with a simple prayer: Thank you for strengthening me, helping me to become a better person, and for removing what is not meant for me and sharpening my desire for what I know is meant for me.
