You made it. Well done :-) That’s what many of you need to hear as we come to the end of this year, isn’t it? You survived, you overcame, you didn’t give in, you didn’t give up, you’re still here. And for that I applaud you. So much of life is beautiful, so much of life is hard. I’m coming to the end of a very special week in my personal life - one filled with family, friends, loved ones…and it’s crazy how on one day in particular I found myself celebrating because of something wonderful that had happened in one of their lives and at another point in the same day I found myself weeping because of something devastating that one of them had walked through - both experiences happened in the same season, yet evoking such opposing feelings. Because you see, for all the joy we can experience in this life, there is still pain that is experienced. And so to those of you who have experienced pain this year and you are still here and are still showing up for your life every day and are learning to overcome, to navigate, to function…I applaud you. Then there are those of you coming to the end of this year that also need to hear well done, but for different reasons. Because this year has been one of your best, it’s been a breakthrough year, a healing year, a year of boxes being ticked and dreams being realised…and for that I also applaud you. As we journey through this month of December, I always thinks it’s important that we use it as a time to reflect. Therefore, whether this year has been one of your toughest or one of your brightest, make sure that you take the time to stop, exhale and tell yourself, “WELL DONE”. Stay encouraged, Marcia 👊🏼💫
🤍NEW THOUGHT FOR A NEW WEEK🤍 (I really sense this is for a few of you atm) As strong as the heart is, it’s also a delicate little thing. When you are open and vulnerable with the intimacies of your heart with another - whether romantic, platonic, family - become AWARE of how your heart is treated. Your heart deserves to be met with respect and have worth & value placed upon it. WHY? Because YOU are worthy of respect and are so valuable. And let me encourage you: when you DO experience your heart being treated in the way it deserves, not only is it DIVINE, but that becomes your barometer, highlighting even more the places where you heart has been taken for granted. Remember in this life, actions speak louder than words - so take a beat, observe and if need be put some boundaries in place. DON’T let others dictate your worth, YOU do what’s needed to remind yourself (and others) of your value. And above all else… Guard your heart people, because all the issues of life flow out of it. One of my friends hates the word “autumnal”, I love to wind her up about it. So under her pumpkin scene posts on her social media my comment tends to be, “Oooooh it’s so autumnal 😉” Unlike my friend, I love the word autumnal, because it stirs up for me visuals of the leaves changing to golden browns & reds, it stirs my senses for cinnamon & gingerbread spices, it gets me in the “hygge” frame of mind. The changing of the season can create such different feelings in each of us. Some of you are breathing a sigh of relief that we have the excuse to hibernate more and others are already experiencing social anxiety at the thought of all the events ahead that you have to attend. Some of you are excited for all that is to come, some of you are weary before you’ve even got started. MANY of you are finding yourself in an odd “in between” stage and really don’t like it. Someone I admire on a spiritual level, talks often in his teachings about the tension of transition. Perhaps that’s a better way to describe this odd in-between season you find yourself in…its TRANSITION…and its creating tension. Often the tension can show up externally in your life, but mainly it’s happening within. Often we’re told (and sometimes I’ll say it to you too), that we need to “TRUST THE PROCESS”. Let’s keep it real - trusting the process is a really hard thing to do, isn’t it? To encourage you through the month of November, I want you to remember times in your life where you had no choice but to trust the process, times in your life where you didn’t have the control and yet the outcomes WERE favourable. The LIES will want you to focus on occasions in your life where things didn’t turn out the way you had hoped. I am not looking to diminish those experiences here. Yet, over the grand scheme of a lifetime, when we trust the process, the MAJORITY of outcomes tend to be over, above and beyond anything we could ever dream or imagine. Remind yourself of the GOOD outcomes you experienced in the past when you trusted the process and let those TRUTHS stoke the fire within, to keep you burning as you journey through the tension of transition this November. October is about REAL TALK. “Meh” seems to be the most commonly used word I’m hearing from people, when it comes to how they view their October. The adrenaline of “back to school” has calmed down, the mornings/evenings are getting darker, the weather is getting colder and we find ourselves fighting off the seasonal sniffles. Someone told me recently about a number of things they had booked into their schedule for the months ahead because, “It’s nice to have something to look forward to, isn’t it?” I had to remain silent. I couldn’t agree…not wholly. Yes there was a time I DID need things to look forward to, but not anymore. And that’s because I got real with me and my life and did what I needed to do, so that I could get to a place of being able to enjoy the here and now. As a result, I now go to bed looking forward to waking up, so I can enjoy what the new day will bring. Don’t get me wrong - if you are working through a really tough time, then 100% get practical things locked into your schedule that will help you breathe, lighten your mood, release endorphins. BUT if you’re booking in things to escape your everyday life, then thats just another form of buffering. To break the lies and build some truth here, the healthier thing to do would be to have some REAL TALK with yourself. Work out WHAT are the things in your everyday life that are making you feel “meh”, that are making you feel like you don’t want to show up for yourself daily and therefore feel the NEED to have something to look forward to, beyond today. Ask yourself, “How come?” Work out what you could do to change things in your everyday living. *Could you try going to bed 30minutes earlier and see if that gives you more energy for your next day? *Could you prep things on a Sun evening so you go into your week ahead feeling in control? *Could you try reintroducing date night so you don’t take each other for granted? Life is for living NOW, so I want you to ask yourself the following question through October: “Can I really afford to go through this life experiencing the majority of my days as “meh”…?” Perhaps October is your month to make a change… Stay encouraged, Marcia 👊🏼💫

What a joy it was to watch Jesus set this precious woman free!! It’s never to late to seek healing and wholeness. “At the age of 75, having fought any previous inner healing, the time was now! Having carried all the attacking lies from the enemy my whole life has caused my relationships to be affected. Regrets are things I choose to carry no longer. The past cannot be changed, but with repentance and forgiveness from Father God, it can be restored. Finally, learning how to break the evil control over my mind, thoughts, and actions has been monumental in my life! The truth Holy Spirit revealed has given me freedom and a sense of worth. Leaving behind my old identity and seeing my new one is such a powerful blessing. Knowing by speaking out with words with Christ's authority to cancel any agreements I've unknowingly given the enemy has cleansed me, and my joy has come back into my life. And often we find ourselves having to yield to the mystery of it all. However, YOU may be fortunate enough later down the line to gain further understanding as to why it happened.
