Genre: sports romance Content: makeouts, toxic parental relationship This is my first time reading a golf romance and it was fantastic! I adored Ellie and Miles! Miles is a pro golfer. Ellie hates golf but begins working as Milesโ assistant in order to save money for the flower shop sheโd love to open. There are so many fun parts in this book! I especially loved when they unintentionally met up in the diner and Miles overheard Ellieโs conversation with her friends. This book releases on June 6th and you donโt want to miss it! โจBook Reviewโจ This was by far my favorite of the Sweet Peach series (so far). It took me a little bit to get pulled in, but I think that had more to do with reality and not the book itself. However, once I got in, I finished this book in a day. It was sweet and swoony. The attraction between the main characters was insanely magnetic and sizzling, all while being no on page explicit scenes. One Last Play by @authorannahconwell โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ ๐ถ๏ธ I loved this book from the very beginning. Reading all the Sweet Peach books before this last one in the series, MJ was always an interesting character to me. And I loved seeing her story play out. The Opposites Attract and Age Gap tropes came together so nicely! So great! Loved MJ and Bash together so much! He was confident and flirty and she was like Bash said, โa treasure huntโ! Loved that part! And his daughter, Maddie was mischievous and a delight. I loved that MJ felt comfortable, probably without even realizing it, with Bash and Maddie. MJ had such a great relationship with Maddie and related to her so well. And Bash and his confidence! He broke through MJโs walls in such a sweet and special way. He really saw her for who she was. They had the most adorably way of flirting, almost like a competition. And this book really introduced us to the Carter brothers. They are simply the best. I cannot wait to read their books. They were all so unique. They are the best supporters like at the dance competition, IYKYK!! I loved this entire series so much and it is so hard to pick a favorite, I loved them all!!! Grayson has long been the cheerleader and advice giver for his family and friends when it comes to love so I was extremely curious to see how he took his own advice. Not too well, as it turns out, haha! But he does have a unique situation so weโll allow him some grace. He does jump in with both feet, typical Grayson style, however, and gives Sloane not only his expert flirting but also his incredible kindness. And Sloan can use all the help she can get to face her intense family and their ridiculous snobbery. I loved watching these to figure things out and fight for each other. They became not only good friends but the sweetest couple and I was definitely happy dancing when things worked themselves out. Out of all of Annahโs characters, Grayson has to be the most beloved & his book was greatly anticipated by readers. Since first meeting him, heโs been easy to love with his playful & good natured attitude. Though we had been introduced to his upbeat side, I liked seeing a more vulnerable side of him. Anyone who lives with anxiety will be able to relate to the way that Grayson hid behind a mask to not cause concern for those closest to him. When it came to his siblings, he was always worrying about them & doing anything to add to their happiness. So it was nice to see him meet Sloane, allow her to see all sides of him, & for him to become more honest about what he was facing. As much as Sloane helped him, he helped her too by encouraging her to step out of her comfort zone & gain confidence. I loved seeing her growth & how she found joy in doing things that she chose for herself. I loved the adventures that they went on together & how it brought them closer together. Graysonโs flirty comments were fun to read & I liked seeing Sloane respond back. &, like always, I have to mention that I loved the Carter family & how Sloane fit right in with them. Other random thoughts: -love that their cat is named Roman C Kitten -the text conversations between the Carter sibs are the best -that waterfall kiss ๐ฅ๐ฅ Makes me want to book myself and my husband a flight to Hawaii for tomorrow!!! Happy Friday! How do you feel about the fake fiance trope? I think that it is often a lot of fun especially because the characters have to interact with each other a lot. Mikayla and I had been eagerly awaiting this book and it was just as good as we had hoped. We both loved it! ๐นMini Review๐น Grayson was a golden retriever character. I had loved him in the past books and I was excited to learn more about him. Grayson was just as sweet as I had thought and I loved seeing him interact with his family and Sloane. He had to learn to let Sloane in and see that it was okay to be struggling. Sloane was also a fun character. I loved her relationship with Grayson and it was cool to read about her falling for him. She had to learn to stand up for herself and see that she was worth it. Both Sloane and Grayson were relatable as they tried to figure out life. I liked reading about them growing and falling in love with each other. They truly cared for each other. The side characters were wonderful and I love the family interactions. The Carter family is just the perfect amount of crazy and love that reminds me of my own family and our relationship. I was engaged in the story from the beginning and I wanted to see how Grayson and Sloane would turn their fake relationship into something real. I finished But Heโs My Fake Fiance in one day and I could not recommend it more! I loved the characters and the story. It was so fun to see the Carter family again. I am super excited for the next book and I canโt wait to read it!

Shaw and Sutton have been fighting each other pretty much their entire lives. Shaw is her twin brothers best friend and Shaw has been obsessed with her forever. Sutton has just been so blindly fighting her โrivalโ, she often fails to see all the kindness that theyโve shared over their lives. Shaw isnโt one to give up easily though and I love that for Sutton ๐ I absolutely love the adoration and complete dedication they have towards one another. Itโs so sweet to read ๐ฅฐ๐ p.s. Oh my gosh. Annah knows how to write a makeout scene ๐ ๐ซ I was dying for their first kiss and I agree with Shaw, it was even better than anything I could have imagined. p.p.s. ๐ Book Review: The Golden Goal by Annah Conwell Overall Rating: โญโญโญ Spice: ๐ชClosed Door What I Thought โจ This book is exactly what you want it to be. Thereโs great banter, a whole lot of swoon and childhood rivalry that is now present day sizzle that all make for a fun and entertaining rom-com. * That Shaw had always carried a torch for Sutton was very believable and sweet. His protectiveness and care for her in all the ways she never knew it growing up (and in the ways he takes care of her now) were all very swoon-worthy. And the development and progression for how Sutton started to realize her own feelings for Shaw also didnโt feel rushed, which felt realistic. * I liked the intensity that Shaw had as a hockey player. Having married a hockey player myself, this felt very relatable in a good way. ๐ * Overall, I liked it! It was fun and light and a sweet romance. This was my first book by Annah Conwell and Iโll definitely try some of her other books!

But Heโs My Fake Fiancรฉ By @authorannahconwell GRAYSON!! I was so excited for him to get his own book and it was amazing! All of the flirty banter and low angst you could want. This was a great romance to kick off summer reads. With the Hawaiian setting and tropical adventures? Where do I get my ticket? ๐ I absolutely adored these two characters and watching Grayson best first impressions and win over his girl. He was the epitome of a golden retriever puppy, though not without his own challenges to overcome. I loved watching these characters take care of each other alongside all of the delicious flirtations and banter. They brought out the best in each other and I was rooting for them the whole way! Itโs been so fun to see the ways that Lottie, Grace, Sophie & MJ interact together, especially in this book since Lottie no longer lives in the townhouse with the other girls since sheโs married. I want to be in their friend group! Admittedly, friends to lovers is not my favorite trope. I generally start to get annoyed that they donโt just face the facts and move forward...and that did happen a little in this book, but not for too long. Sophie is so hardworking! I really admired her work ethic and her desire to see her business succeed despite the lack of support from her mom. Somehow she still manages to find time for fun! This was actually a perfect book to be reading on April Foolsโ Day because Sophie loves pranking Bennett. I adored Bennett. He knew Sophie so well and showed her love in ways that meant so much to her. The restaurant date! โค๏ธ I also loved how he intentionally built Sophie up, and how he stood up to her mom in her behalf. The Golden Goal was my first and favorite and l've adored digging through her author backlist ever since. The Carter brothers and family is the best. I've loved Grayson since the moment he helped his twin brother move to a new home in But He's My Grumpy Neighbor and every moment since. He is the family member there for everyone and all he wants is to find what everyone else has, love. He even purchased a single family home instead of a bachelor pad. Enter Sloane "Rose" Covington, romance author that the Carter family adores - even Grayson has read her books. She gets caught in a tricky situation and Grayson steps in like the dreamy hero he is. This is cozy adventure romance. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ I am RARELY, speechless. However, after staying up well past my bedtime to finish the last half of this book, ๐ซ ๐ I am speechless. Every page. Every chapter just kept getting better. Even when I had no idea how it could get better. Annahโs books are masterpieces and I absolutely lost track of how many times I teared up at this book. Iโm obsessed with the whole Carter Fam Bam so this book is so so special getting to many glimpses into how the other siblings and spouses are doing after their books ended ๐ As for Grayson, I have loved his character since I met him. I have been rooting for him finding his person from the first sibling group chat message ๐๐ฅฒ I hoped it was a girl who could keep him on his toes, bring him back down to earth, and take care of that enormous heart of his. ๐ฅน๐คญ Sloane is that girl. ๐ฅน๐ญ Watching them be a team through thick and thin, made me cry pretty much any time anything happened. I also squealed like a teenager (multiple times ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐) at their flirting and banter. Read this book if you want a fun, sweet romcom filled with laughter, stolen cupcakes, stolen kisses, sunsets, longing looks, sacrifices, full-fledged support, real diamonds, waterfall make-outs, coping with anxiety, pushing each others limits in a healthy way, Hawaii bucket lists, and the best golden retriever MMC and a sassy, bookish FMC.

But I didn't know this would become my favorite book by this author! When Sloane's ex-boyfriend gets engaged to her stepsister, she grabs the first guy she sees and announces that she's engaged too. Grayson Carter goes along with it and these two begin a fake summer romance. Although does it really feel fake? โ Grayson was a swoony book boyfriend. First of all he was flirty and charming. Constantly making me smile with the things he would say to Sloane. I enjoyed the fun scenes from the karaoke and the golf cart incident. To the more tender moments of the backyard date and all those kisses! This author is so good at writing chemistry without any spice. I adored even the simplest contact such as holding hands or when Grayson would wrap his arm around Sloane's shoulder. โ I liked Sloane's soft, kind nature. I love charming golden retriever men. Especially when the anxiety rep squeezes my heart. That hit on a few personal life levels and I love when a book can bring that kind of connection out in me. Sloane and Grayson were the best of opposites attract. I loved the banter between them and oooooh those kissing scenes were on fire. Booking a trip to Hawaii specifically to go hiking to a waterfall ASAP. There were so many sweet moments interspersed throughout and I absolutely loved getting to see the whole Carter family again. I get the hype now; it was so cute! Shaw and Sutton grew up together. Shawโs best friend is Suttonโs twin, Brock. Theyโve fallen into a rivalry, although Shaw has loved Sutton for years now. Shaw plays hockey for the Alabama Rockets and Sutton just got hired on as a team PT. This forced proximity ends up being a good thing for them. ๐ Shaw was GONE for Sutton and honestly, I was here for it! It was fun watching Sutton battle her growing attraction to Shaw. Gosh, they were just so adorable together with their back and forth. Favorite Quotes: ๐ฅ โโฆwhatโs wrong with a nice guy? Also I have specific mood boards for different parts of the book, because when I say this is my favorite book. I mean it. Grayson & Sloane Tropes: โขGolden Retriever MMC โขOnly One Bed โขBookish MMC & FMC Thoughts: This book gives all the cozy adventure vibes. The entire time I was reading it I was feeling 1990s/early 2000s romcom movie vibes. Between the golf cart hijinks and the karaoke night I just kept thinking this would make the cutest romcom movie! There were so many moments I loved. The chemistry was written so well and I really appreciated how realistic the attraction was portrayed. As an introvert I appreciated how Grayson encouraged Sloane to get out of her comfort zone but never pressured her and ultimately left the choice up to her if she wanted to participate in something or not. Overall another favorite by Annah. Highly recommend! (Dual POV and Closed Door) PS I am 100% a Maverick girlie and cannot wait until his book is here! ๐
