Ich möchte ehrlich mit euch sein. Ich bin gerade nicht sehr zufrieden damit, wie ich mein Profil auf dieser Plattform gestalte. Es liegt nicht daran, dass ich keine Ideen hätte. Ich habe aktuell schlichtweg keine Kapazitäten. Der Alltag fordert mich so sehr, dass ich zeitweise komplett ausgelaugt bin. . Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich so viele Aufgaben in der Familie übernehmen muss. Dass es so schwer ist, Raum für mich und meine Bedürfnisse zu bekommen. Und dass die wenigen Male, in denen ich auch nur ansatzweise Raum für mich durchsetze, dermaßen mit einem schlechten Gewissen verbunden sind. Weil ja, natürlich möchte ich meistens die Zeit mit meinen Kindern verbringen, aber das, was dadurch immer auf der Strecke bleibt, frisst sich von hinten in meinen Kopf und lässt mich nicht durchatmen. . Ich bin in dieses Konstrukt mehr oder weniger bewusst reingerutscht und nun fällt es mir manchmal schwer, einen Ausweg zu sehen. Oft muss ich mir einfach sagen: Es ist okay, dass du nicht deine beruflichen Aufgaben schaffst. Es kann nicht alles gleichzeitig stattfinden. Es ist ok, dass du mit dir nicht immer zufrieden bist. Vielleicht ist es ok, dass du einfach nur versuchst, irgendwie durchzukommen. Und die eigenen Ambitionen müssen eben noch ein bisschen warten. . Wie ist das bei euch? Feeling overwhelmed mama? We got you! Here are 5 steps to start today to kick that overwhelm to the curb: 1. Make a list of what's creating the overwhelm for you. This might be not enough support or help, or too many chores and tasks to complete, or stress in your relationship, or not enough alone time, etc. 2. Highlight the things you can control! This is where we will focus our energy to take action. Focusing on what we cannot control is often one of the culprits of increased overwhelm. 3. Start small to make big change. It all starts with the smallest of steps. See if you can break things down into smaller, more attainable steps. 4. Ask for the help you need! Identify the supports you need and then start reaching out. If you don't have those supports identified yet, that's your first step. 5. Give yourself grace. This is hard and will take time. You cannot tackle all the things on your list at once. Being a mom is one of the coolest and most challenging things I have ever done. It has brought me some of my most greatest moments of joy and some of my hardest moments of pain. And I wouldn't give it up for anything. But the truth is, it is hard. It's not always been the "mom part" that the hardest though. It's managing all the other "things," missing the woman I was before baby and making space for her again, and wanting quality time with my partner.
