‘It’s a wondrous thing, how the wild calms the child’ ~ Unknown It never ceases to amaze me how emotionally regulating being out in nature is for Nox. We’re staying at my Mum’s for a few days and although he begs and begs to come and absolutely loves being here, he really struggles emotionally being away from home and having to share my time and attention with other family members. So when he was beginning to feel overwhelmed yesterday I took him outside for a little rainbow nature hunt (luckily I brought or colour wheel with us!). My Mum’s garden is perfect for this as it’s full of colourful plants and flowers! We’re using our gorgeous @helliontoys colour wheel who have ceased trading now but you could easily make your own with some paint and some cardboard!
