It should be taught in school during biology that the prerequisite of loving is being okay with placing your heart out on your palm, extending it to your lover and being in the complete awareness of how someday, they're going to eat your heart out and you are going to let them. It should be taught how loving will always mean giving away parts of yourself in exchange of nearly nothing because people have different appetites, and the ability of digesting love. I think it should be taught in school,how the prerequisite of loving is to be okay with having pieces of yourself devoured, sometimes eaten, sometimes merely digested, sometimes not,and even watching it getting puked out because of its unbearable, sour taste. it should be taught that love makes you choke on your own saliva at a time if consumed in a haste, After all, love comes in all textures and tastes and one has to be okay with its edible fate. I think it should be taught in school how to manage love and its dietary consequences. I think they should break down love and its nutrient value, in a meticulous, step by step plan in order to make it gulpable, in order to avoid waste. They say it is hard for the stomach to break down complexities. Amylase breaks down the excess complex carbohydrates into monosaccharides, and I wonder why they never taught us how to process love like carbs, in order for it to be digested. I wonder how no one ever told me that love has to be taken with a pinch of salt sometimes, how patience may work like water and courage like lemon on days when love decides to act like vodka. I wonder how it never occurred to me that in order to make an appetite for love, one has to take extra effort that ensure easy digestion. So now, I am preparing a diet chart for my heart to navigate its appetite for your love.
