Polpo alla piastra su crema di patate. La ricetta di oggi é ispirata al "Polp Fiction" di Philippe Lévéille, 2 stelle Michelin, del ristorante Miramonti l´Altro a Concesio in provincia di Brescia. Ho semplificato e modificato la ricetta per poterla realizzare piú velocemente a casa anche a pranzo, senza dover utilizzare particolari strumenti. Nella mia versione la crema di patate viene fatta direttamente in pentola facendo soffriggere lo scalogno, aggiungendo patate pelate e tagliate a pezzi, un po´di brodo, sale, un cucchiaio di Worcester e alla fine burro e poi viene frullata con il minipimer fino ad ottenere una consistenza vellutata. Al contrario della versione originale non vengono utilizzati panna e latte e il meno burro, comunque abbondante, garantendo un risultato piú leggero. La crema originale é anche molto piú chiara. La salsa barbecue non é realizzata da zero come fa invece lo Chef ma é creata unendo salsa ketchup, paprika affumicata, un pizzico di Sriracha e un cucchiaino di Worcester, per dare l'effetto affumicato. Mi sarebbe piaciuto realizzare la salsa originale perché sicuramente da quel kick in piú ma la sua preparazione avrebbe richiesto molto piú tempo. Il polpo viene abbrustolito e poi spennellato nella salsa barbecue e successivamente nel panko che prima ho fritto nel burro chiarificato. Ho anche fatto una aggiunta alla ricetta, la pancetta affumicata abbrustolita. 🙂↕️👍😶🌫️ Come accompagnamento una insalata di rucola, ravanelli, menta, germogli di soia e fiordaliso, e per dare la nota nocciolosa ho usato granella di arachidi, ma potete usare quello che piú vi aggrada o che avete in frigo. 📚📚📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚📚📚 Recently, I finished "Remarkably Bright Creatures" by @shelbyvanpeltwrites. I initially thought the book was going to be told entirely by Marcellus [the octopus], but it is instead narrated by him as well as the humans his life entertwines with. The book includes themes of getting older and facing mortality, abandonment, and searching for lost family, as well as rejection and unrequited love. It also deals with povert, on a small scale. "Remarkably Bright Creatures" tells a really beautiful story, the highlight obviously being the octopus and how he experiences humans. I wish Van Pelt would write a sequel, or perhaps a prequel focusing on Marcellus' former life in the sea. Honestly, I'm just not ready for his story to be over. There are some sad points in the novel, but "Remarkably Beight Creatures" didn't make me cry. So, I feel it's not overly depressing for those of you who would prefer not to experience this emotion while reading. It's more touching and thought-provoking than anything. I very much enjoyed the book, and I'm giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Have you read this book? If so, what are your thoughts? Amazing dining experience with. @ptleoestate You will need to reserved your seats in advance. For entree, we had Yellow Fin, Octopus and Cheesecake(blue cheese) All are great but Octopus gave me that "surprise" it's so good Cheesecake as Entree, yes. It's unique in a nice way. For main, we had Snapper, Chicken, Beef I know right... Chicken... But it was so good, it look like pork belly, but it's not and it's so good. Beef is perfectly done. But i prefered the 1 from another restaurant. As for dessert, we had Macadamia Nut and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut is more towards the floral side. Hoy lo que quiero, es presentar en sociedad a un nuevo integrante de mi "familia" (junto a Manolito, la araña que debía tener solo en Halloween, y se quedó de forma permanente). Aún no le he puesto nombre, pero seguro que se me ocurre algo. Siempre había querido tener uno, pero no me atrevía, porque tiene un significado personal para las personas con TEA. Ahora bien, una vez resultó que yo también era autista (para sorpresa de ¿nadie?), ya no tenía que preocuparme por apropiarme de nada, ya que al final, yo siempre había formado parte de la comunidad, simplemente no lo sabía, y hacía caso a majaderos que decían que mis meltdowns eran "ser barroca". Voy a ser una dama educada, y no voy a decir lo que pienso de ellos, pero tiene que ver con que un ave de corral joven, picotee repetidamente sus partes nobles, sin que me importe lo más mínimo. En cuanto a cómo encontré al pulpito, fue casualidad. Yo estaba en @shein_spain buscando un camisón de verano, y me salió en recomendados (se han venido ambos a casa). Si bien estoy en la parte verbal del espectro, y de la que menos ayudas necesita, si es cierto que he tenido momentos aislados de mutismo (que yo acabo de saber que se llama así), siempre estando más cómoda contestando con un emoticono o un gif.
