Welches Buch habt ihr zuletzt beendet und wie hat es euch gefallen?📖 . Hey there!💚 Ich hoffe es geht euch allen gut. Irgendwie dachte ich, da jetzt ein Drittel des Jahres schon um ist, wird es mal wieder an der Zeit für ein kleines Lebensupdate🙆🏽♀️ Denn nachdem das letzte Jahr wirklich mal wieder katastrophal geendet hat läuft 2024 bisher...echt gut. Ich traue mich gar nicht das zu sagen. Klar, mit der WA könnte ich besser voran kommen und lesen tue ich momentan auch viel weniger als ich gerne würde, aber irgendwie habe ich trotzdem das Gefühl dass 2024 mal wieder ein gutes Jahr werden könnte. Ich habe mir Anfang des Jahres vorgenommen mich mehr zu trauen und dieses Semester alle Chancen zu ergreifen und bisher habe ich mich daran auch ziemlich gut gehalten würde ich mal sagen. So langsam scheint alles an seinen Platz zu rücken, die Arbeit an der Uni macht mir Spaß und auch die WA ist super interessant, wäre da nicht dieser blöde Zeitdruck.🙈 Ich habe dieses Jahr bereits so viel erlebt, sei es die Buchmesse, Festivals oder einfach Ausflüge mit Freunden, habe meine Schulterschmerzen dank Physio ganz gut in den Griff bekommen, tolle neue Menschen kennengelernt und es geschafft andere gehen zu lassen und was soll ich sagen - es fühlt sich gut an! Mental ging es mir schon lange nicht mehr so gut wie im Moment, was natürlich auch damit zusammenhängt dass es momentan echt ganz gut läuft und das macht mich wirklich happy. Klar, ich hab nach wie vor echt viel mit der Uni zu tun und es gibt immer noch Baustellen, besonders mental, an denen ich noch arbeiten muss und ich kann immer noch keine Emails schreiben, aber das ist okay. Und irgendwie ist es auch schön zu sehen, dass es nach einem absoluten Tief auch wieder ein Hoch geben kann. Jetzt müsste ich es nur noch schaffen wieder mehr zu lesen und hier auf Bookstagram aktiver zu sein, aber das fällt mir immer etwas schwer wenn ich gefühlt nichts zu Büchern zu erzählen habe🥲 Daher wird es vermutlich in der nächsten Zeit wieder mehr Content aber bezüglich der WA bzw generell der Studienabschlussphase geben. Ich hoffe das ist okay🥰 Genießt den Feiertag und das (hoffentlich) schöne Wetter und macht's fein!💚

I woke up sick a few days ago, on top of being up with the baby periodically throughout the night. One thing I love about homeschooling is being able to take a few extra minutes in the morning to relax if I, or the kids, need it for health reasons. Mornings can be rough when you aren't feeling well, and forcing myself or a sick child out of the house just seems unnecessary (unless we are going to the doctor, of course!) Some mornings call for taking it easy. The kids helped with laundry and picked up their rooms while I spent a few extra minutes resting. I was able to make myself some hot tea (in my Grandpa's old mug) and prepare breakfast for the family, perhaps a little later than usual. Having a baby in the house means I'm needed on demand, but even a few extra minutes of rest can make a difference when our immune systems are working overtime. I work to teach the children care and grace. That way, when I'm not feeling well, they understand courtesy goes a long way.
