If you can cut up an onion, potato, and a carrot, you can make this delicious potato mushroom soup. Just add herbs and spices. It is even better the next day so make enough for three days or freeze some. #lifestylemedicine #dailythreemiles #daily3miles #daily5kilometers #D3M #D5K #walk #healthyliving #healthychoices #wholefood #WFPB #crueltyfree #ethicalandhealthyliving #vegan #nonprocessedfood #ayurveda #yoga #tantra #ahimsa #taichi #compassion #love #gettingitdone #weightloss #informeddecisions #criticalthinking #fightentropy #wheredoigetmyprotein #veganizeit #halfassingit

I thought posh people only ate advocado and eggs on toast but here I am now doing it! This probably doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing and seems a lot! Was so good- home made bread with advocado, fried eggs with olive oil all allowed on phase 2 of moulife. But should only be one slice of bread per day and this is obviously more! #bread #advocado #egg #nonprocessedfood #singleingredientfoods #ibd #ulcerativecolitis #modulen #modulife #fooddiary

This research suggests porridge can improve inflammation with ulcerative colitis - ‘’Whole-grain foods such as oats may protect against colorectal cancer and have benefits on inflammatory bowel disease and coeliac disease…….A long-term dietary intake of oats or oat bran could benefit inflammatory bowel disorders, but this remains to be proven’ NHS guidance shown on 3rd photo also highlights porridge has soluble fibre which is the type of fibre that can help prevent inflammation with passing stools #ibd #research #ulcerativecolitisawareness #food #nonprocessedfood #porridge dge

I wasn’t holding out much hope for this one but it tasted and felt great! Jumbo organic porridge oats done in the slow cooker for 7 hours on low with one part water to 4 parts water. I put some acacia honey on which although said was not good in last nights peppermint tea was fantastic with porridge. 1st time introducing porridge which is allowed on ModuLife phase 2 (only half cup per week which this does exceed!). Had 2 large dishes of this #porridge #honey #crohns #ulcerativecolitis #ibd #healingut #nonprocessedfood #food #fooddiary

On Modulife phase 2 (after 6 weeks re introducing solids) can have 1 lean steak per week. I introduced steak first time tonight. Wasn’t lean though. Wagu sirloin with chips/wedges- peeled and air fried with olive oil. This tasted sooooooo good #modulife #ulcerativecolitis #crohns #nonprocessedfood #ibd #fooddiary #food

I took some chili, onion and raw cauliflower to make a spicy and crunchy salad. Mix in with a little avocado dressing (avo, lemon juice, water, pinch of salt) and there you go ❤️ Taste and texture bomb. It doesn’t have to be boring or tasteless 😍 Love from Gouda 🇳🇱 #medicalmedium #medicalmediumcommunity #medicalmediumrecipes #medicalmediumlifestyle #medicalmediumprotocol #eatplants #glutenvrij #veganistisch #veganrecipes #saladideas #simplecooking #simplemeals #nutrition #vegannutrition #healthcoach #healingjourney #healingfoods #healthyrecipes #gezondeten #puureten #nonprocessedfood #wfpb #wholefoods #wholefoodplantbased #wholefoodplantbased #highcarblowfatvegan #hclf

Introduced tomatoes from today. Take on the chicken bolognaise from ModuLife. I haven’t got the ModuLife app but found the receipe online for phase 1- mince chicken (at home not brought), carrots, fresh tomatoes. Mine has basil, mixed herbs, nutmeg, cinnamon, tiny bit of paprika, salt and petter. In slow cooker 8 hours served with mashed potatoe no butter plain. Had some later as stomach couldn’t manage too much. There’s left overs for another day which helps with chronic illness #modulife #modulen #crohns #ulcerativecolitis #ibd #digestivedisease #lowfibre #nonprocessedfood #lowfodmap #lowresidue #food #chronicillness #lowinflammationdiet

My diabolical breakfast combo from the last post🤣, as you can see I’m having too much fun from the hate comment😂. Well eggs with olives and cinnamon, strawberries and blueberries then a slice of @weareheylo cinnamon and raisin loaf. Cinnamon is quite popular for us today isn’t it. #cinnamon #keto #ketofood #ketobreakfast #fattofit #heylo #temitalkz #breakfast #eggs #nutrition #nonprocessedfood #nonprocessed #noadditives #goodfood #healthyfood

Go green!!! There’s a lot of confusing information out there about What we should eat When we should eat How we should eat But the basic rules to remember are: 1. Do you recognize the ingredient? (If you don’t, your body definitely won’t) 2. Eat as close to the natural source as possible (sorry, no doughnut trees out there!) 3. Eat a rainbow of Colours (green veg have SO many super powers) 4. Eat mindfully - slowly, drink water, manage your portions. 5. Add fresh herbs & spices, nuts & seeds when possible (I added curcumin and sesame seeds to this dish) Long periods of fasting are not ideal for busy women who need the energy - our brain needs fuel to work! . ✅ We need soluble and insoluble fiber. ✅We need our low GI carbs, healthy fat and lean protein. ✅We need our micronutrients Your body will thankyou for a balanced, non processed healthy diet - start with your greens! #eatyourgreens #nonprocessedfood #healthydiet #menopause #lookafteryourbody #micronutrients #macronutrients #vegetables #fiber #guthealth #soinach #broccoli #asparagus #courgette #herbs #spices #stirfry #familydinner #recipe #greenveg

This one thing has helped me to be consistent with eating healthy more than anything. 👇🏻 There are SO many different opinions on what it means to eat healthy. If you google how to eat healthy you’ll be overwhelmed by all different types of diets to try, what foods you should avoid, supplements to take, etc. And the hard part is that there is always evidence that backs up why eating that particular way is the “right way to eat to be healthy.” So how are you supposed to know what eating healthy looks like for you? Well the truth is we are all different, and what works for one of us won’t work for someone else. It’s about trying something for an extended period of time (30 days is my recommendation) and seeing how it makes you feel. But no matter what way of eating you are experimenting with, the #1 thing that has helped me to be consistent with eating healthy is….. READING THE INGREDIENT LIST ON FOOD LABELS.🕵🏻‍♀️ Instead of looking at the nutritional fact chart, try focusing your attention on what ingredients are being used. There are SO many hidden food additives, preservatives, dyes, artificial sweeteners, and other processed GARBAGE that does not need to be in our food. A good rule of thumb to use is if you're reading a food label and can’t pronounce an ingredient or don’t know what the ingredient is, there is a good chance your body won’t either and you should consider putting the product back down. Get comfortable becoming your own ingredient detective. The more real, whole foods you eat, the better you are going to feel. No matter what “diet” you are trying on. PS: if you’re looking for sauces to enhance your meal prep that use REAL INGREDIENTS comment 💚 and I’ll send you my menu.
