Home ❤️ Coffee from my own cup, sitting in my "daily" spot, grateful for so many things. This cup has no message on it, just a beautiful little design reminding me that God has a design for each season of my life too. Sometimes we wonder if God is even working...but He always is, putting the pieces together to fit the picture He has for us. Our picture might not look like anyone else's and yet, because we are all unique and individually created and loved by God.... our unique spot is all part of a grander plan. I love remembering that. I'm older than I was when I started speaking and writing, and the young ones rising up to their calling are brilliant and shining bright. It would be easy to compare or quit, but I'm convinced that God has a calling until our very last breath and so I will keep moving forward one step and one season at a time. I will not despise age but instead embrace it gratefully. I will cheer on those younger who are stepping into their calling, using what God has given them. Today I'm waking up rested and still in one piece!🤣 after a fun, full, tiring 4 day ministry trip. A trip I couldn't do weeks ago. (Part 3: Reconnecting with my faith 🙏) I have many personal reasons why I turned away from my faith. Many that relate to religious trauma and abuse. As years go by and the more I remember I would ask “Why did God abandon me at such a young age?” These questions use to haunt me as I watched others around me who were so comfortable in their faith. They would worship and smile and there would be me hurting. Til this day, I still have questions but I have come to learn that I can’t keep drowning anymore. There is so much more to life than looking back at my seven year old self. Regardless, I made this choice on my own to trust God and where he will take me in this adventure called “life”.
(Part 2: Reconnecting with my faith 🙏) By reconnecting with my faith, I am watching my own family do the same. I never thought I would reach this point in the past 15 years of my life. Who would have thought praying together was a possibility? I didn’t that’s for sure. Yet, here we are praying the rosary and actually talking about our faith. No screaming, no crying, proper conversations. This feels like a different life and I aren’t complaining. It just shows that healed people, heal other people. 💕
(Part 1: Reconnecting with my faith 🙏) The birds are chirping 🕊️, the flowers are blooming 🌸, spring is here to dance☀️ . The season of beauty, life and renewal is my favourite season. As I reconnect with my faith and learn to trust His Word, I am finally finding some inner peace I been lacking for many years. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 This isn’t a sudden change. Just letting you know! This was years of work, tears and suffering in silence. It is just now, I feel comfortable being open to express my faith 💕 The rosary is a prayer tool I have used in my childhood. I remember going to rosary club with my best friend @ivanaa23 every week in elementary. It brings some special memories as I pick it up once more as 26 year old woman. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 I recently brought three rosaries from @sanctusbeadsrosaries . They are the most beautiful rosaries I have ever seen. They are well crafted and represent my choice to return to my faith once more. Her rosaries are absolutely worth it! John 10:10 says that Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly. What is abundant life? Abundant life means living life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength. It means living life to the full and not just merely existing. Abundant life is what Jesus desires to give each one of us. Perhaps you’ve already tried religion. Maybe it let you down. Maybe it even hurt you. Perhaps even a lot. I get it - because it did me too. I encourage you to try Jesus instead. Religion is about rules and rituals. It’s about striving to reach God by checking off a list of “holy to-dos.” Jesus is about love, and it’s a love that reaches you right where you are - No matter who you are. No matter what you’ve done. No matter where you thought you were going. There’s something so much different when you invite Jesus to do life with you. It’s hard to explain just with simple words. I loved the stage when I arrived to pray in the room before the women arrived for the conference yesterday. I was so excited to share some from God's word on Rest... starting first with, "what is unrest?" Addressing a foundational truth in soul rest.... and always the first to be amazed at how the Holy Spirit moves when we ask Him to have His way.
