Sunday 17th March Today I’m particularly thankful for: 🐶 my little boy being 11 months old. I’m so grateful to have his companionship and love. 🐶 I have owned my home for a year today and I thank God for allowing this to happen and for giving my parents a home to live in also. 🐶 My nan who would have been 109 today had she still been alive, but I am thankful for the time I got to spend with her and for her love, interest in me, encouragement and for making me feel seen and heard by her. Saturday 9th March I am so thankful for my little boy and that even though I had to go to the vet with him today because of an infection around his nose that at this stage it isn’t any more serious than a course of antibiotics. Murphy has been a blessing in my life (even when he’s been a very trying and naughty puppy). His companionship is exactly what I have been needing these past few years and I thank God for him and for bringing him into my life at the right time. I’m also thankful for the following today: 🐶 An opportunity to exercise, stretch my legs, look after my physical and mental health and to prove to myself that I can do it. I’m also thankful that so far it hasn’t negatively impacted me with fatigue. 🐶 Mum helping me with taking Murphy to the vet. I’m very thankful for how much mum helps me with so many acts of service in my day to day life. 🐶 An opportunity to get creative and try a new potential hobby. Thursday 7th March I am very grateful that on Thursday evenings we have fish for tea. Sometimes it’s salmon and sometimes it’s a white fish. I really love fish. I’m grateful I love in a country that I can eat good fish which is readily available and that I can afford. I’m thankful for my Thursday night meal which ci sissy of a piece of fish, either homemade potato wedges or homemade sweet potato chips and vegetables as well@as a glass of white wine. Yum! Tuesday 5th March This prayer came up in my Bible app today and it was just so timely. I am currently working through my past troubles, my current pain whilst worrying about the future. How great God is that He is the author of my life, the perfecter of my faith whilst working all things for His good. May He help me to keep my eyes and faith in Jesus! Monday 4th March Today was my first day back at work after two weeks off. I was feeling very anxious beforehand. But I got through the day. I still need to work on giving my troubles to God and letting go of then. This photo is of a photo I took at the beach a couple of years ago. It is where I would much prefer to be.
