I love this little life! It’s lovely. Making homemade syrup from what’s in your backyard! Recipe : To a pot add equal parts sugar to water. In my case it was 1cup sugar to 1cup water Get it to a rolling boil. Allow it to cool, Get a jar full of lilacs, as you see here I have a small sized jar. Be sure to pick all of the little flowers off. No need for stems and so. (This process may be tedious) Once the simple syrup has cooled, be sure to add it on top of the flowers in said jar. Just a lil life update to the gram. Growing a baby and a business has been an adventure to say the least 💙 💪🏼 It’s so incredible living my daily life with my new little best friend moving in my belly. Spirit has asked me to slow down, rest, and devote time to nourishing myself body, mind, and soul, and with that, I am doing an April reset focusing on total health. I’ve taken a short break from marketing or promoting, my programs actively which is scary, but I know that if I am not aligned, nothing else falls into place professionally or personally. I’m being called inward, and I am following in faith. So, instead of pouring into work, I am pouring into myself this month. This has involved a dietary cleanse, no red meat, sugar, etc., and more reading, walking, somatic yoga, meditation, prayer, and other spiritual practices. One day this week before dinner, we drove to the beach to play in the waves and ground my energy, which is something I usually wouldn’t have made time for and would have had no motivation that late in the day, but the water was perfect medicine. I’m leaning into fun, play, and lightness during a very intense, energetic time right now. I am already feeling my personal energy lifting, lightening, and becoming magnetic as I connect with neglected pieces of myself with intentionality. Sharing wisdom daily to inspire others is what I do as a writer and shadow work coach, but I don’t have much of that to share today, so I thought I would simply share what is being channeled through me to create shift and change in my life and maybe this resonates with you too. After all, the only way to create change in our lives is to change our habits and routines, which is always scary to the brain but feels so juicy for the soul.
