CRESCENT CITY - WENN DIE SCHATTEN SICH ERHEBEN Leute ich habe soooooo lange auf den dritten Teil gewartet und ich war einfach nur gespannt wie die Geschichte weitergeht und ob sich die ganzen Gerüchte bewahrheiten werden 🙈🌚 Ich möchte euch aber an dieser Stelle nicht Spoilern und schreibe euch einfach nur wie mir das Buch gefallen hat 🤝 Ich fand’s richtig gut, dass die Geschichte quasi 1:1 so weiter ging, wie sie in Band 2 geendet ist. Ich war direkt wieder ZOOOM mitten im Geschehen drin und hab’s total geliebt 🥰 Ich fand den dritten Teil sehr spannend und hätte mir auch zwischendurch mal eine kurze Verschnaufspause gewünscht 😅 Die ganze Stimmung ist sehr dunkel und ich hatte die ganze Zeit dieses✨ Apokalypse Feeling ✨ Ich liebe die Gang rund um Bryce und wie alle zusammengehalten haben und zueinander standen. Ich finde SJM hat ein besonderes Talent dafür, Charaktere wirklich „zum Leben zu erwecken“. Man hat das Gefühl, die Personen in dem Buch stehen neben einem und man erlebt alles mit. Einzig und allein die Story um Ithan fand ich etwas nervig 😶😶 Der Showdown war wie gewohnt phantastisch 😍 Für mich war die gesamte Crescent City Reihe einfach ein Highlight. Es ist am Anfang sehr sehr viel und das Worldbuilding und der weltenaufbau sind nicht gerade einfach, aber es lohnt sich wirklich. Und diese kleinen Insider im Buch sind die besten. #teamhöhle !! 🚨🚨 SPOILER 🚨🚨 So .. maybe ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 is a little harsh but I felt so much hype for this and was so excited to get stuck in I fully expected to binge read in a day, however it actually took me a while to finish because I was getting FRUSTRATED AF!! Bryce has been a top SJM character for so so long and suddenly her vibe just felt off to me I couldn’t place it at first but it just felt wrong between her and Hunt, there was so much going on but also not (?) than we get a magical cure produced in a couple days it feels like and how convenient it makes you almost indestructible!? Like I felt it was a cop out towards the end. Guess who finished her most anticipated 2024 read 👀 it’s me! I started CC3 as soon as it came out!!! Which is the exact opposite of what I did with CC2. I waited to read the second book for over a year because I didn’t want the series to end…but that cliffhanger at the end had me chomping at the bit for CC3. I have to say, Crescent City House of Flame and Shadow delivered!!! I didn’t think House of Sky and Breathe was that great and found myself a bit bored during parts of it.
