Du kannst dein Leben verlieren ganz ohne zu sterben. Dieses Zitat ist nach wie vor das beste das die Erkrankung an ME beschreibt. Heute ist #MECFSAwarenessDay zu diesem Anlass möchte ich noch einmal kurz erklären was ME eigentlich bedeutet: ME/CFS bedeutet Myalgische Enzephalomyelitis/das Chronische Fatigue-Syndrom. Diese Erkrankung ist eine schwere neuroimmunologische Erkrankung, die oftmals zu einem hohen Grad an körperlicher Behinderung führt. ME/CFS ist zusätzlich eine chronische Erkrankung und wird in 4 schwere Grade unterteilt. ▪︎ mild ▪︎ moderat ▪︎ schwer ▪︎ sehr schwer (Servere ME) Wer an ME/CFS erkrankt ist, leidet nicht nur an der Fatigue sondern ist komplett Belastungsintolerant. Dazu gehören Körperliche und geistige Aktivitäten. Wer an ME erkrankt ist muss stets auf Ruhephasen achten. Um sich vielleicht mit Freunden treffen zu können, heißt dies das man 2-4 Tage davor NICHTS tut und sich einfach nur ausruhen muss damit dies möglich ist. Zusätzlich leidet man 24/7 an Symptomen. Es gibt keinen einzigen Symptomfreien Tag. Bis jetzt ist diese Erkrankung nicht heilbar und desöfteren endet sie tödlich. Nicht wenige wählen gar den Freitod. Das Problem ist, die WHO hat bereits 1969 ME/CFS als neurologische Erkrankung eingestuft, leider ist der Stand der Forschung im Jahre 2023 nicht viel weiter. Weder Ärzte, Behörden und Ämter kennen sich meist mit dem Krankheitsbild aus. Politiker sind nicht bereit groß in die Forschung zu investieren und die Erkrankten werden im Stich gelassen. Wenn ihr uns allen eines glauben könnt, dann ist es dies: WIR WOLLEN LEBEN! Mein größter Wunsch ist es wieder gesund zu werden. Auf Konzerte zu gehen um dort die Atmosphärein mich aufzunehmen, zu spüren wie die Musik meine Seele erreicht wie die Noten über meine Haut tanzen und mich ihr einfach hinzugeben. Ich möchte Schottland Irland und Japan bereisen. Die kultur kennenlernen und mich an der Schönheit der Natur erfreuen. Ich möchte meine Freunde in den Arm nehmen. Ich möchte mit ihnen am Lagerfeuer sitzen, mit ihnen musizieren und bis zum morgengrauen philosophieren. " - Dalai Lama - Dieser Post ist dank der Inspiration von @bianca_iosivoni erstanden, denn sie fragte mich, wie man ME/CFS erkrankten am besten helfen oder welche Organisationen man unterstützen könnte, damit sich etwas in der Forschung oder aber in der Versorgung etwas tut. Es gibt tatsächlich einige Organisationen, die sehr viel für uns Erkrankte tut. Bestes Beispiel sind hier: ▪︎ @liegenddemo ▪︎ @nichtgenesen Beide Organisationen sind es wert unterstützt zu werden. Die Liegenddemo veranstaltet immer wieder Demonstrationen bei dem auf unsere Erkrankung aufmerksam gemacht wird und sammelt diesbezüglich auch Spenden. @_quietschie_ ist bei der @liegenddemo sogar dem Organisationsteam beigetreten und hilft wo sie kann. Es gibt also viele Arten zu helfen. Weitere Organisationen sind aber auch @me_hilfe_ und https://www.mecfs.de/ . Bei der @me_hilfe_ findet ihr mehrere Infos inwieweit ihr helfen könnt. Selbst Nachbarschaftshilfe ist wichtig. Es liegt also an jedem einzelnen selbst inwieweit er helfen möchte oder auch kann. Ihr könnt aber auch selbst Spendenaktionen starten und den Gewinn der Forschung zur Erkrankung von ME/CFS spenden. Seit ihr handwerklich begabt und möchtet damit helfen? Dann fragt doch ob ihr etwas spenden könnt das vllt auf den Veranstaltungen verkauft wird gegen eine Spende. Wie ihr seht es gibt unglaublich viele Wege um ein wenig zu helfen. Ich danke jedem einzelnen von euch der hilft. Heute sind wir in der Diagnostik einen Schritt weiter gekommen, ein weiteres Blutbild und stark erhöhte Werte haben die Diagnose „rheumatoide Arthritis“ bestätigt. Jetzt muss ich zu Experten der Thematik werden, denn Rheuma hat zig Gesichter, unterschiedliche Therapien und jeder empfindet es anders, jedem Betroffenen hilft etwas anderes. Die akute #Cortisontherapie startet morgen. Dazu kommt Magenschoner, Vit D und Calzium. Ein weiteres Blutbild und das #MRT sind dann die Basis für die #Immunsupression , die Langzeittherapie, die auch bald startet. Schonungslos ehrlich wurde ich über die #Wirkung, #Nebenwirkungen und die #Risiken der Medikation aufgeklärt. Das ist wichtig, denn es gilt ab sofort einiges für mich zu beachten. Dazu mehr in einem der nächsten Beiträge. Ich könnte heute schreien vor Schmerz, die Schwellungen sind wieder heftig. Und dieses Gespräch hat mir für heute den Rest gegeben, auch wenn es dringend nötig war und es nun zumindest einen Plan gibt. Ich muss nun versuchen, das alles zu akzeptieren und damit umzugehen, meine Strategie ist nun erstmal Wissen einholen über diese #Krankheit, denn nun wohnt sie nunmal in mir. ↪️ Kennt ihr den Unterschied zur Arthrose? ...ja, ich hätte es manchmal wirklich gerne leichter...😔 Natürlich vergesse ich nicht, dass es soo vielen Menschen auf der Welt sooo viel schlechter geht, als mir. Aber ich habe an dem Päckchen, das ich zu tragen habe, trotzdem sehr zu nagen... Auf der anderen Seite wäre ich heute nicht die, die ich bin, wenn in meinem Leben etwas anders gelaufen wäre. Alles hat einen Grund (sagt man),- nur, dass ich den meinigen wohl noch nicht ganz ergründet habe... 😒🤷🏼♀️ Ihr seht oben meine aktuelle Medikation - Ich "darf" mittlerweile 5 verschiedene Medikamente einnehmen,- mehrfach am Tag. Darunter 3 verschiedene Blutdrucksenker & neuerdings Gapapentin + Etoricoxib 😵💫 Mein Wochendispenser sieht aus, wie der meiner Oma damals... Die war Anfang 80! 🥴 Der jahrelange Bluthochdruck (eigentlich besteht der schon seit meiner Jugend) & der (auf die Jahre gerechnet) noch längeren Medikamenteneinnahme (seit ich 12 bin, befinde ich mich schon in ärztlicher Schmerztherapie) haben meinen Nieren bereits deutlich zugesetzt...☹️ Chronische Niereninsuffiziens Stadium II. Mit noch nicht mal 34 😩 Meine Nierenwerte verschlechtern sich fortschreitend & ich habe solche Angst... Und ich bin sooo verdammt pillenmüde... !!! 😕 Gestern Abend wollte ich noch ein NEM (Glucosamine) einnehmen,- doch bereits vor Aufdrehen der Dose überkam mich bei dem Gedanken, noch eine weitere Pille schlucken zu müssen, eine so ausgeprägte Übelkeit, dass ich die Dose wieder zugedreht habe, ohne überhaupt eine Tablette rausgenommen zu haben! 🤢 (entschuldigt bitte die folgende Ausdrucksweise:) Ich glaub' echt, ich hätt' mich sonst bekotzt!! 🤮 Ja, ich hätte es manchmal vielleicht einfach gern leichter. Manchmal würde ich gerne gar nicht so stark sein müssen. Und meistens fühle ich mich auch gar nicht so. ... dann seid *ihr* es, die mich immer wieder daran erinnert, was ich schon alles geschafft habe & dass ich doch eine Kämpfernatur bin. Creatief bezig zijn is iets waar ik veel voldoening uit haal. Mijn inspiratie en spanningsboog is wel erg kort om hier lang bezig mee te zijn. Uitdaging dat wil ik, iets nieuws proberen want als ik het kan wordt het routine. Die routine is alleen leuk als ik een doel heb zoals het maken voor iemand die bevallen is of jarig. Mijn ade is 2 maand geleden bevallen van een tweeling en tantie/mama tua heeft lekker de haaknaald weer gepakt. Ik ben op dreef heerlijk, maar zoveel baby mutsjes zijn er nou ook weer niet nodig. LA PARTE VIVA DI ME Ci sono momenti in cui l'idea di sapere una vita forzata con la sclerosi mi demoralizza e la rabbia prende il sopravvento, mi ripeto che fa parte del gioco, stringo i denti: sono fasi, la mia malattia è un incognita, sono in piedi e non sono sola; sopporto e cerco di trarre linfa dai momenti felici, positivi e d'amore che la vita continua a darmi. Il senso del tempo cambia con una patologia cronica importante: a volte mi sento derubata del bene più prezioso che un individuo possiede, il tempo, soprattutto in quelle giornate in cui la stanchezza prevale e sono costretta a riposare, dormire e rallentare i ritmi, quando invece vorrei fare, progettare e dedicarmi a ciò che amo. Questi giorni, prima con l'influenza e poi con la nuova terapia, Il corpo però si è fatto pesante, ho ceduto alla richiesta di uno stop forzato, il mio umore è calato e io mi sono sentita in difetto. Se è vero che la sclerosi mi ha tolto tanto, è vero anche che mi ha impartito lezioni importante, come quella di godere dei piccoli momenti, come un caffè preso in compagnia, le lunghe passeggiate, gli incontri casuali e fortuiti, le chiacchierate che mi arricchiscono, le telefonate inaspettate e scoprire lentamente che la mia vita è meravigliosa anche cosi. Non guarirò ancora ma i miei progetti, le mie idee, la mia curiosità sono vivi come non lo sono mai stati prima d'ora, ci metterò un po' più di tempo per arrivarci ma ci arrivo. Während man gleichzeitig immer suggeriert bekommt, man würde sich nicht genug anstrengen. Ich liebe meine Mädels die trotz einer Entfernung von fast 400km immer für mich da waren und den Weg durch meine persönliche Hölle mit mir gegangen sind. Ich weiß das es ihnen weh tat mich so fallen zu sehen und doch haben sie nicht gezögert und in der schwersten Zeit meines Lebens meine Hand ergriffen anstatt sie los zu lassen. Sie waren da wo andere gingen und haben geholfen wo sie nur konnten. Nach 4 Jahren haben wir uns nun endlich wiedergesehen, da sie über meinen 39 Geburtstag runter kamen. Unsere Dynamik hatte sich 0 verändert und es war als hätten wir uns erst gestern gesehen. Es tat einfach unglaublich gut und es zeigte mir, das es kaum etwas kostbareres gibt, als "normal" behandelt zu werden. That’s the reason it’s called an invisible disease. What can you do if a relative is diagnosed with MS or another chronicle disease? 1️⃣First tell them that you are there for them if they ever need you. Most of us have the feeling that we are a burden to you. Especially if someone was very independent before the diagnosis/symptoms 2️⃣Don’t give your unsolicited advice. That's really annoying, especially when someone compares you to another person who also has MS. Once again, everyone’s MS is different. Something works differently for each person. And it's up to the person to figure this out. So advice is only welcome if the person asks for it and not because you think you want to help them 3️⃣MS is unpredictable. One day, we can do so much like shopping, sports etc, but the other day we can do nothing. For example: it is possible that I make an appointment with you to go out for dinner, but I can cancel last minute because my body does what it wants. So, don’t get mad at us, or don’t take a stand against us. We can't do anything about it. Your relationship is so important and meaningful for them, so ask them what you can do for them if you want to be there for them and help them. Don’t do or say something without asking them. Starten wir ganz am Anfang oder zumindest da,wo es relevant würde.. Einen genauen Zeitpunkt gibt es nicht, aber es war Ende August 2021. Mein Sommerurlaub ging langsam dem Ende zu (Nebeninfo: Ich bin Erzieherin mit ganzem Herzen!❤️) & so richtig toll oder erholsam war dieser leider nicht. Meine sonst gelegentlich auftretenden Symptome, wurde häufiger und langsam auch echt lästig. (Hauptsymptome: steinharter Blähbauch, Bauchschmerzen Mal mehr Mal weniger stark,Durchfall, Gewichtsverlust, kaum Hungergefühl) Somit blieb mir nichts anderes übrig,als zum Arzt zu gehen, was nebenbei erwähnt überhaupt nicht kein Ding ist. Zum Arzt ging es für mich nur, wenn es wirklich nicht anders ging. An dem Punkt war ich dann wohl angekommen. Also ab zum Hausarzt. Probleme schildern, nach Hilfe fragen. Bluttest,Stuhlprobe, Laktosetest und Magen/Darmspiegelung. Mein Ablaufplan für September, yeaj. Bluttest und Stuhlprobe waren unauffällig. Die Spiegelung am 16.08. waren auch soweit ok. Es gab zumindest keinen Grund zur Sorge. Das einzige Ergebnis brachte der Laktose Test. Der war positiv. Na toll, und jetzt? Ich Laktoseintoleranz? Milchprodukte sind mein Hauptnahrungsmittel. Ein ganz liebes HALL♡, an diesem wunderschönen und sonnigen Sonntag. Heute habe ich mal ein Foto respektiv sogar zwei - zwei die nicht die wundervolle Schweiz zeigt. Auch ich bin mal im Urlaub, Urlaub wie es so viele machen die es Finanziell und gesundheitlich können. Denn auch ich konnte lange von Urlaub nur träumen. Gesundheitlich war ich einfach nicht in der Lage, längere Reisen auf mich zu nehmen. Ob wohl man mir ausserlih nichts anmerkt. Auch heute noch, sieht man mir meine Krankheiten nicht an. Wie bei so vielen Menschen. Krank oder beeinträchtig sein, heisst nicht immer das man was sichtbares hat. Das man immer mit einem Gesicht herumläuft wie sieben Tage Regenwetter. Nein auch kranke dürfen Lachen und Glücklich sein - egal ob physisch und/oder psychisch krank. Kranksein heisst nicht mit dem Leben abgeschlossen zu haben. Ich weiss vorurteile und stigmatisierung sind schnell mal in den Köpfen von ausenstehenden... Der eint oder andere Spruch den Ihr oder auch ich als chronisch Kranke Person schon mal zuhörennbekommen haben: -was Du gehst schön wieder in Kurz-/Urlaub. -Ahh Urlaub geht, aber Vollzeit arbeiten nicht. -Für Urlaub hast Du die Kraft. -So schön wie Du, möchte ich es auch haben. -Rente bekommen und in Urlaub gehen das sind die richtigen. -Hast Du kein schlechtes Gewissen. -Da wird man ja direkt neidisch auf Dein Leben.... Ich könnte noch vieles aufzählen was wir, so zuhören bekommen. Was hast Du schon unterirdisches zu hören bekommen? Warum ich das hier schreibe - ich schreibe das hier nicht um mimimi oder Mitleid zu erhalten. Nein, ich schreibe das weil es einfach so ist wie es ist. Und ich immer wieder staune was "wir" so zuhören bekommen. Unsere geselschaft ist manchmal schon.....! Darum hoffe ich auf mehr inklusion. HAPPY Diaversary mein Großer!🥰 3 Jahre.......oder 1095 Tage ....der Diabetes und wir! Für manche mögen es nur Zahlen sein, für uns sind es Tage voller Höhen und Tiefen (nicht nur auf den BZ bezogen), mit vielen Sorgen und ohne Schlaf, voller Zweifel und Ängste....immer mit einem Zusatzgepäck im Rucksack! Das Bild ist schon etwas älter, dennoch fand ich es absolut passend zum heutigen Diaversary💙 meines Sohnes!: Denn wenn wir ehrlich sind, ist das Leben mit chronischer Krankheit ein einziger Balanceakt! Realitycheck: Während ich diese Zeilen schreibe, liege ich mit einem Muskelfaserriss (der sich später als Wadenbeinköpfchenfraktur rausstellen sollte) auf meiner Couch, ein Kühlpack liegt auf dem betreffenden Wadenmuskel und verschafft mir ein bisschen Linderung. Wenigstens benötige ich kein Schmerzmittel. Das muss man auch erst mal schaffen, innerhalb von drei Monaten einen Bänderanriss am Knöchel zu bekommen und dann später einen Muskelfaserriss in der Wade, jeweils am anderen Bein. Ich erzähle das nicht, um Mitleid zu generieren, Mitleid ist etwas, mit dem ich sehr schlecht umgehen kann. Nein, ich erzähle das, um zu zeigen, wie viele Gesichter Multiple Sklerose haben kann. Ob der Muskelfaserriss tatsächlich durch mein schlecht ausgeprägtes Gleichgewicht entstanden ist, darüber streiten sich die Geister, aber es könnte sein. Der Bänderanriss ist auf jeden Fall darauf zurück zu führen. Und auch das lernt man, Dinge, die man für selbstverständlich gehalten hat, wertzuschätzen. Man merkt erst, wenn es einem schlecht geht, wie gut man sozialisiert ist, wie viele Menschen dich zum Arzt fahren, für dich einkaufen gehen würden oder dir ein offenes Ohr leihen. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich das vor meiner Diagnose so bewusst wahr genommen habe und auch zu schätzen wusste, aber ich tue es jetzt. Auch wenn es mir noch schwer fällt Hilfe anzunehmen, weil mich dann doch mein Stolz überkommt, so lerne ich jeden Tag dazu und bin dankbar. Dankbar für die Menschen in meinem Leben und dankbar für eine zweite Chance mein Kapitel neu zu schreiben. Ich mag zwar nicht mehr die alte Emmi von vor der Diagnose sein, aber das muss ich auch nicht. Denn ich bin gut so, wie ich bin. Und an alle da draußen, die sich einsam fühlen und vom Leben überrollt werden, ihr seid nicht alleine.
