I have to admit that the concept behind this book fascinated me from the start, and let me tell you, it absolutely lived up to my expectations. Samantha Young’s extraordinary storytelling, combined with the dual narration, was remarkable. Stella Hunter and Shane East’s talent for accents truly brought each character to life! 🔸The chemistry between our main characters, Allegra and Jared, was absolutely epic. There were numerous “my wife” moments that had my heart racing. There was this delicious tension between Allegra and Jared that made their first spicy scenes completely wild and it will be etched in my mind for a long time! 🔥 🔸Although this is the first book I’ve read in this series, I found that I easily connected with the other characters, without feeling lost or confused. 🔸Overall, if you love marriage of convenience featuring incredible characters, then this audiobook is an absolute must-listen! Even though it’s a horror book, it’s not scary (at all), I was actually expecting it to be much more. Even though I don’t like slow-burns, it fits perfectly into this book. WEALTH - Book 3 - BINDING CONTRACT by Amelia Wilde Narrated by Vivienne Larue and Patrick Zeller Aaaand finally, they go from friction to FRICTION, if you know what I mean. They let go of their animosity and start to show each other the lengths they’ll go to for love. We see the softer-ish side to Mason, and his relationship with Charlotte is at the forefront of Book 3. There are still more secrets uncovered, but they start to work as a team. The spice is delicious, and Amelia rounds off this series well with a satisfying ending. A trilogy that was an easy listen for me. Do you like to read trilogies/series, or do you prefer standalones? I love interconnected standalones, but will hit a trilogy if all three books are released already. THE WHITEWASH by Siang Lu ( #gifted ty @sianglu_author) is a hilarious satire of the film industry (both in Asia and in Hollywood) that’s written in the style of an oral history documenting the appalling collapse of what was supposed to be the next blockbuster spy thriller with an Asian male lead actor. Hong Kong actor JK Jr. is the star of Brood Empire—until he isn’t. The online gossip mag Click Bae is here for the tell-all, and it’s through Click Bae’s interviews with the key players—and eavesdropping on the Click Bae team’s own squabbling—that we get to see how it all unraveled. This was the perfect break from my usual heavy lit fic fare; it’s comical and naughty and irreverent. Each character has a distinct voice and strong personality. While the satire is a bit on-the-nose and while I sometimes wished the book had pushed its themes further, it’s an entertaining read. Perhaps the greatest testament to this book is that because I received this directly from the author as audio files, I could only listen to the book at 1x speed, which normally would be *painfully* slow for me, but the combination of a fantastic full cast, juicy subplots, and a fresh look at old leitmotifs kept me invested. Two things elevate the novel above pure slapstick: Lu weaves in jaw-dropping history about the movie industry (including very recent instances of yellowface in Hollywood, as well as lesser-known tidbits), and the sincere character of Angela Hu, JK Jr.’s on-again, off-again love interest. When she appears in the book, there are moments so poignant I felt my heart seize up. I’d recommend THE WHITEWASH to readers who enjoyed the themes of R. F. Kuang’s YELLOWFACE packaged in the documentary style of Dawnie Walton’s THE FINAL REVIVAL OF OPAL AND NEV. Originally published in 2022 in Australia (and winner of the Australian Book Industry Award for audiobook in 2023), I’m hoping it makes its way to global markets including the U.S. soon! I've loved this trend and admired all the time and intentionality that a post like this entails. Each book here is one I'd reread in a heartbeat and some I've already read twice. They're glimpses of JOY. These authors are genuinely Kind humans and I wholeheartedly recommend all of them. 📖Book Review/Rec📚 When Among Crows by @veronicaroth ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This urban fantasy novella with multi POVs is a beautifully woven story steeped in rich Slavic lore with characters you grow to like quickly. A very fast paced and easy to get into world of humans, creatures, and humans who have crazy bone swords that hunt creatures. I really enjoyed the pace and how easy it was to get sucked into this story. Perfect for getting out of a reading slump or for a weekend you want to quickly binge an exciting story. This story also had a surprisingly cute ending that I was not expecting and left me feeling very satisfied with the shorter story. If you liked the vibes of the show Lost Girl, I think you'd like this story. It's different, but has similar vibes and the core of creatures blending in amongst humans trying to live their lives and be who they are without getting killed. Beautifully written and exciting to read, highly recommend. A House Like an Accordion by Audrey Burges Pub Date: May 21st ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Synopsis: I think you should go into this one mostly blind so keeping this super short. Keryth is slowly disappearing, and she must go on a journey to find her long-lost father to stop it. Thoughts: I have truly never read anything quite like this book before! A unique and whimsical read, A House Like an Accordion will take you on a magical adventure. I was really engrossed in the story and the characters. The magical element was a little difficult to understand, as the main character was discovering its intricacies along with the reader. I recommend just going in blind, suspending disbelief and enjoying the ride! A note on the audio: I thought the narrators (Rebecca Lowman and Mark Bramhall) were SO good. I was very entertained by their performance. For me personally, I preferred reading this one in print due to the format of some letters and things mixed in throughout. When Ali goes missing, Ryan is suspected being responsible but eventually cleared. No body was ever found and, years later, the case resurfaces when her car is found with a mysterious envelope labeled “If something happens to me.” As more pieces of the puzzle snap into place, it becomes clear Ali’s disappearance was about more than random happenstance. My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was the first of Alex Finlay’s books I’ve read and I will definitely be checking out his others! Loved: *multiple narrators!! (They were so good!) *page turner with a decent twist early on (Can you still call it a page turner if you listened to it?! lol) *told from multiple perspectives *honestly really loved Shane O’Leary’s character, Disliked: *ending felt rushed *no big “wow” factor for me I would definitely recommend! I couldn’t believe how closely this beer can design matched the cover! Even the font at the bottom of the can is similar to the font of Steven Rowley’s name! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Pub Day: Today! I enjoyed this follow-up to The Guncle, a bookstagram favorite, but it wasn’t the 5⭐️ read I was hoping for. I missed Maisie and Grant’s innocence and their Palm Springs pool days. I wasn’t super interested in learning about their travels and it seemed like all of the characters had something to complain about. The last third of the book was really sweet which brought my rating up a half star. So, what does a handsome man with a questionable reputation do? Well, he kidnaps her, forces her to marry him, and refuses to let her go. ✨Thoughts✨ I’m not sure if these alliance men are certifiable or freaking geniuses who know exactly what they want from the start. King didn’t question his actions at all, and he had me laughing uncontrollably. This man is unbelievable, and Savannah doesn’t stand a chance. He practically makes her his queen, and I was totally here for it. 🔸Overall, I had such a blast listening to this story. It’s a great read or listen if you enjoy over-the-top men. I do recommend reading the series in order as past characters from Nero make an appearance. This book can be considered a dark romance given a few aspects towards the end. I also must commend Chloe Ryan and Jack Calihan for their excellent dual narration. The Branded Book 1 of The Branded Season series Audiobook narrated by Leah Filley 4.5 ⭐️ I got really into this storyline, and I credit that to how well the banter was executed. WEALTH - Book 1 - NET WORTH by Amelia Wilde Narrated by Vivienne Larue and Patrick Zeller I finally got around to starting this trilogy. I listened in Audible Plus, but it is leaving soon, so I’m in a race to get it done! Book 1 sets the scene nicely. There is revenge in the cards, and Mason is ready to make Charlotte pay for her father’s actions. With a backdrop of real estate dealings and the billionaire lifestyle, we are treated to this enemies chemistry and how both of them are just starting to like their interactions and are starting to crave them. Even though they think they shouldn’t. Vivienne is a new-to-me narrator, and I enjoyed her performance. She portrays the “innocent” Charlotte well, bringing a youthful quality to her narration. Patrick does arseh0le billionaire so well. He is angry and dominating, and it just works. This is a push-pull power play with a side of degred@tion kink. And this book will edge the fvck out of you! PUCKING AROUND by Emily Rath Narrated by Amy Hall, Alex Kydd, and Ash Beverly Production by Tantor Audio Okay, once again I’m late to this party. I didn’t realise quite how thicc this book is. Man it’s a long one, but it’s kind of a two-for-one situation as it also contains the prequel–THAT ONE NIGHT. So the prequel is just as it sounds the telling of the night that Rachel and Jake met. It’s an anonymous one-nighter with plenty of spice. The connection is set, but Rachel does a runner. Then PUCKING AROUND picks up a bit later when Rachel finds herself working on the same team as Jake and she meets Jake’s best mate, Caleb, and the very serious Finnish goalie, Mars. It’s a story of how four people enter into a polyamorous relationship and make it work. They work through the kinks (pun intended) and come out a strong foursome. We get into the nitty-gritty of the relationship, and I enjoyed it for the most part. I thought the spice was delicious and the characters were relatable. I did struggle a bit with the length. Including the prequel, this baby is nearly 25 hours long! And unfortunately, the narrators didn’t do it for me. Now that’s probably a me thing, so don’t let it put you off. I can be picky when it comes to narration. Listen to the sample and see what you think for yourselves. All-in-all a fun, spicy, and, at times, emotional story with some big hockey guys. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ This is the second book in a series and while I liked the first book, I loved this one. Part of what I love so much about small town romance is that sense of a strong community as the series progresses and the author did such a great job at giving me that feeling with this book. Bitterroot Valley sounds dreamy and quaint with a gorgeous Montana setting and residents who look out for each other. Summer and Chase were adorable together, this is friends to lovers, he falls first, protective cop hero and a dash of suspense. Such an amazing combo that had me hooked, I was truly invested in their HEA and believed in their love story wholeheartedly. Stella Hunter and Connor Crais were both amazing narrators, Chase is so protective and Connor does a growly man so well lol. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫⁣ ⁣ Thanks @mustloveaudio for the alc ❤️

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧 Title: The Household by Stacey Halls Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my first Stacey Halls book and I really enjoyed this on audio! The household is a historical fiction book that is set in Urania House, a home for "fallen" women just outside of London that was set up by Charles Dickens and other philanthropists including Angela Burdett Coutts. The house offers a place of refuge for these women where they learn skills that they can take with them when they leave the house. We see the lives of the various women in the hoe throughout the book and the life of Angela one of the philanthropists. Unfortunately for Angela she is subject to an intense stalking by a man for ten years and at the beginning of the book he has just been released from prison after only serving a year or so in prison. A fascinating story from start to finish that will have you rooting for the various women. One element, I really enjoyed in this is that certain characters and events are taken from real life. Including the fact that Charles Dickens set up a home like this and Angela Burdett Coutts character was real, from a wealthy banking family. Unfortunately the storyline of Angela being stalked for ten years was also true. In the audio version on borrowbox, it included an interview with Stacey Halls and one of Angela's relatives which I found really added to the story and why Stacey decided to write about it. KNOT SO LUCKY by Tilina Pucci Narrated by Samantha Brentmoor, Jacob Morgan, Lee Samuels, Teddy Hamilton, and Alexis Paige. Fk me this fkr was FUNNY! After getting tangled in that fkn tinsel, I thought I needed a Vegas wedding. I smashed straight into this one and a whoopsy drunk Vegas wedding. Once again, Trilina made me fart laugh. And yes, that’s a thing and totally embarrassing. But, I digress! This was another hilarious rom-com that I couldn’t put down. I definitely had a lovely clean house due to this puppy. With three hot football players mucking around at the pool, I couldn’t help but get a little wet! Sam smashes it again as Eleanor (the sister of the heroine in TANGLED IN TINSEL). She’s fkn hilarious. And Jacob matches her comedic timing, giving us a hefty amount of one-liners. Throw in Teddy and Lee for those s*xy times, and this book is a cracker. And then you have Alexis in a supporting role. Seriously, an amazing audiobook you need to listen to. I’m so mad at myself for waiting so long to get into this series. I hesitated because of the hype. I’m always wary of super-hyped books, but this is one that definitely lives up to the hype. If you haven’t joined this party bus yet, get on, it’s a wild ride. "Code Dependent" by Madhumita Murgia reveals the murky reality of today's AI, and it's true driving force, which, lies miles away.  The book highlighted the exploitive nature of AI on individuals, communities and society as whole. Most often those with the greatest impact being completely unaware that they were being exploited. I never really thought about how AI learns, I just thought it's AI it just gets the data and learns it - however, AI requires humans to label the data and then feed this in. The book also explored in depth how the algorithms are already making critical decisions about our health, education and human rights - unfortunately sometimes getting it wrong because at the end of the day AI just isn't the same as a human assessing the situation. Overall a fascinating listen, although I do feel the book could have been a little shorter in places. Of course, not all women were equally fought for and I appreciate how the musical doesn’t shy away from that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Overall, this was a fun and education listen. It has a similar feel to Hamilton but it’s also fully original and it’s own with a unique blend of spoken word and catchy songs 💫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 19: The Musical was originally a stage production that’s been adapted for audio (such a fun idea). SPARROW FALLS - Book 1 - FRAGILE SANCTUARY by Catherine Cowles Narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber Production by Lyric Audiobooks Thanks to Catherine for this ALC. You can get your hands on this baby on May 16th, so not long now! I’ve been itching for this book for so long, and Catherine and this power couple of narrators didn’t disappoint. Catherine loves to write romance with a side of st@lking and cereal k!llaz, and I was here for every plot-twisty moment of it. With the perfect balance of suspense, lovable characters, twists and turns, relationships, found families, and spice, you just can’t go wrong with one of Catherine’s books. She has this amazing ability to keep you guessing, paint the picture, and make you fall in love with her characters. Her books are always bingeworthy. I smashed through this audiobook, not wanting to stop listening to these two fantastic voice actors. These guys always nail their parts. With Andi diving into the depths of Ro’s tragic past and Zach slowly peeling back the layers of Anson, you can depend on these narrators for a must-listen experience. And to top it off, the production by Lyric Audiobooks was perfect! The only problem I have is that Catherine just can’t write these books quick enough. I’m already ready for the next one! The first book in a series is so important as we get to know the characters who will show up in the rest of the books, and Catherine teases us, oh so well. Is it time for book two yet!!!? Personally, I opted for the audiobook version, which was a great listening experience. 🔸From the very beginning of this series, Sloane Kingston’s character caught my attention. In this installment, we are given a deeper glimpse into Sloane’s past and her background. Meanwhile, Javier emerges as a fun character with intriguing layers. In contrast to previous books, the tone of this novel comes across a bit flat. I was hoping for a bit more. 🔸The connection between Sloane and Javier simmers gradually, and I find this aspect of the story satisfying. An additional treat is the reappearance of beloved characters from previous books and the introduction of new ones who are sure to make a comeback with their own stories. 🎧 This is a duet narration by the talented duo of Andi Arndt and Gregory Salinas. As a Spanish speaker, I couldn’t help but notice occasional lapses in the fluency of Javier’s Spanish, which slightly detracted from the authenticity of his character. However, the superb narration quickly squashes any minor distractions. Overall, if you’re already invested in this series, you absolutely cannot afford to skip this fourth installment. Narrated by Stella Hunter and Shane East Production by Lyric Audiobooks Thanks to Samantha, Lyric Audiobooks, and Must Love Audio for this ALC, it was a pleasure listening to it. Oh, I do love a Scottish accent, and both these narrators nailed it! This is book 4 in the HIGHLANDS series, but it is a standalone, and I haven’t read the others and wasn’t lost at all. This is a romantic suspense novel set in the highlands of Scotland. It’s a marriage of convenience with a smidge of unrequited love at the start. Allegra is desperate to stay in Scotland but is facing the immigration boot, and Jared’s family farm is failing, and he needs an injection of cash quick smart. Soooo what do you do? You get married, of course! I love how we see Allegra and Jared’s love grow, and all this happens with some foul goings-on on the farm. Jared goes in to bat for Allegra with her parents and ultimately saves the day. There are relatable characters, an interesting side of suspense, found family, spicy times, Jared goes into full protector mode, and a lovely HEA. I smashed through this one in a day. It’s an easy listen with fantastic narration. Stella does a great job at revealing all the layers of Allegra while flipping accents. That sh!t has to be hard, but she aced it. I’ve got to say that I think I love Shane’s Scot even more than his Brit! He plays the gruff Jared perfectly and flits between Scottish and American accents with ease. These two voice actors bring this story to life in your ears. Pick up the audiobook, you won’t be sorry you did. With seamless post-production by Lyric Audiobooks, you can’t go wrong with this one. Guys, this one has it all. Summer time vibes… family drama…romance… and … (*gasp*) murder! If this cover doesn’t scream “beach read”, I don’t know what does. 🍹

The St. Cecilia hotel is called “The Saint”. It was a luxurious hotel “back in the day” and ultra wealthy guests would spend their summers there. Traci Eddings sure wasn’t one, but she did spend a summer working there. She ended up marrying the bosses son. Hoke dies (not a a spoiler, btw) and Traci inherits the hotel. She loves the hotel, but certainly not all of the family drama that comes with it. Trying to bring The Saint back to it’s glory proves to be a lot of work. What follows is drama, humor, twists, secrets…. all set at a posh seaside resort. 🐚 I highly recommend it! Kathleen McInerney delivers a very lively narration, full of a lot of life and bubbly personality. ☀️ She does a great job of narrating a full cast of characters. Be sure and pick this one up to throw in your beach bag this summer. 🏝️

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧 Title: Vivienne Westwood by Vivienne Westwood and Ian Kelly Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really enjoyed this book on the life of Vivienne Westwood! I found her hilarious, very honest, loveable , determined and a very independent person in this book. It spans her lifetime from her upbringing to her early career life, her turbulent relationships, her role in the co-creation of punk, fashion trends, her career spanning five decades, her fame, her activism and her later years. This book gives a fascinating insight into her life and the fashion world! It also doesn't shy away from her relationship with Malcolm McLaren and their turbulent relationship both personal and working and how she branched out from him in fashion to become the Vivienne Westwood she is known today. She doesn't shy away from her feelings on him either! Her activism takes up a good section of the book towards the end which didn't interest me as much as her early life and fashion but it was still interesting. SAINT by Sierra Simone Narrated by Jacob Morgan and Sean Crisden How the fk does Simone make monks hot?! This book is a masterclass in angst and Aiden aka Brother Patrick is hellbent on exercising restraint when it comes to Elijah. I loved how Simone pokes and prods at the virtues and vows of c@tholics. It has some interesting perspectives. I also had no idea monks were so into brewing beer! Jacob does the majority of the narration for this one, but Sean brings the goods when it counts too. It is a fantastic audiobook. We get all the inner turmoil of Aiden coupled with the selfless love of Elijah. This story has some European travel in it, so Jacob gets to flex his accent muscles. We are treated to some delicious French and Irish. Sean’s parts are read from the Notebook of Elijah, and I thought it was an original way of introducing the other POV without it being explicitly there. Sean shows us a window into Elijah. These two guys do an amazing job of bringing this angsty, steamy MM romance to life. With massive character development and a relationship that is trying so hard to become more, this book is a read you won’t be able to put down. I highly recommend the audio for this one. I liked the first part of this trilogy Thorn, retelling of Goose Girl, but really loved this one. Rae is a great character, she is flawed and must face a lot of problems because of her physical disability and what people think of her. But she is strong, clever, caring and brave. The plot is really gripping, the speed hardly slowing down. Add to it handsome villain thief and you end up like me. Philly feels like a summer dream this week and My First Popsicle edited by Zosia Mamet is a perfect companion. Short essays on significant food memories written by an excellent cast of actors, writers, fashion industry figures, artists, etc. I listened to it on audio to get the full effect of each author’s unique voice (most read by the individual authors, but with a surprising amount read by Busy Philipps, who has her own essay as well), but bought a physical copy too in order to have the interspersed recipes. Standout essays for me were Stephanie Danler’s “Shallot Vinaigrette Insurance” on learning how to cook in a different way post divorce (ooof, I teared up) and Andrew Bevan’s tragic, but hilarious “Ball Buster”, a story of being broken up with over meatballs at a charming, romantic Italian restaurant. Food and memory are so deeply interspersed and this anthology perfectly captures two things that I love the most in literature: excellent food writing and deep, sometimes painful, sometimes joyful, but all very human and raw emotions. Thank you @librofm and @penguinbooks for the ALC of this wonderful little book. I rarely recommend the audio experience over anything else (just my personal preference), but in this case it’s the immersive way to go… Kaley Cuoco’s voice cracking when describing an ex’s cocktail ritual, Patti Smith’s perfectly gravely understated tone… My First Popsicle is on shelves and in earbuds now!

✨ALC Review✨ The Letters We Keep Nisha Sharma ✉️💖✉️ ✨Thoughts✨ I instantly fell in love with Nisha Sharma’s storytelling when I first read her book, Dating Dr. Dil. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity to listen to this audiobook, especially because it featured two incredible narrators, Soneela Nankani and Vikas Adam. Their dual narration was absolutely perfect. The plot of this story unfolds at a thrilling pace, keeping me completely engrossed. Jessie Ahuja, a freshman in college, and Ravi Kumar, an heir to a billionaire fortune, stumble upon a collection of old letters that bear a resemblance to their own budding romance. This discovery becomes their lifeline to prove that love can defy all obstacles, including societal hierarchies, if only they can uncover the truth behind the mysterious star-crossed lovers. What truly stood out for me was the inclusion of the letters themselves. They were seamlessly interwoven into the novel, adding an intriguing layer to the plot that made it nearly impossible for me to tear myself away. The balance between romance and mystery was just irresistible. Overall, if you’re a fan of new adult romance infused with a dash of mystery, this audiobook is an absolute must-listen! If you love audiobooks, I highly recommend listening to this one. It has a podcast trope with more than one timeline going on. It’s definitely a slow burn, but the suspense builds into a great story. current mood ~ 🎙️🇬🇧😱🤯🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

🎧Audio Review🎧 ⭐️Out May 9th⭐️ Skies Over Caledonia was my first book by Samantha Young and it will not be my last! Brought to glorious life through the delightful voices of @stellahunternarrator and @shaneeastreads I was transported to the struggling farm in Scotland and I never wanted to leave. I got chills a few times from that brogue... damn… Allegra needs help staying in Scotland and Jared begrudgingly needs capital to keep his grandfather's farm running. When she proposes a Marriage of Convenience with an end date that gets them both what they want, Jared is skeptical but doesn't see any other option. Sure, she's tempting and feisty and like his chickens way too much, he can resist her... right? Unlikely Jared, unlikely. Especially when the lines inevitably start to blur and feelings bloom. They can only lie to themselves for so long. And once they start to open up to each other... resistance is futile. This may have been a textbook case of these tropes, but that doesn't mean I loved it any less. I listened to this all in one sitting and I wish it had been longer. Samantha Young has been recommended to me for years now, and I guess it's time I listen. But if you're like me and have never tried her before, I think you'll catch on well with this one. I also think that audio is well worth it. Their voices perfectly embodied their characters. Listening to Luci Christian’s interpretation of Paige was an absolute joy! I will say if you don't like ending in mystery \ thrillers were everything is not wrapped up in a bow, you probably won't like this. And if you liked Chasing the Boogeyman by Richard Chizmar or Murder in the Family you'll like this. Despite the immense turmoil, I couldn’t tear myself away from this audiobook! 🎧 I must commend the narrators for their outstanding dual performance. TANGLED WITH TINSEL by Trilina Pucci Narrated by Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Troy Duran. Okay, I know, I know, it’s not Christmas, and yes, I am sooooooooo late to this party. But what a party! This was just the listen I needed. It had me cackling in the most unladylike manner, and there may have been some drink spitting too! This is my first Trilina book, and if they’re all like this, there’s no way it’s gonna be my last. This woman has the best one-liners. Seriously, I want inside your brain, Trilina. It must be such a fun place to be. A festive why choose romance with Carolina Reaper spice! And just the best in audio. My only complaint, and it’s not really one, it’s just I’m plain greedy, is that I would have loved a fourth male narrator, so Connor didn’t have to read two characters. I mean, if you’re gonna do a full cast, why not have everyone do a different character. Because it’s fkn expensive, Kat, and I’m sure there are a ton of other reasons. Anyhoo, this audiobook is a must-listen. The guys all portrayed their characters so well. They all had a distinct persona and smashed it. But the star of the show here, besides the story because, let’s be honest, it’s a banger, was Ms. Brentmoor. Apart from the fact that she’s just a fabulous human bean, she is perfect as Samantha. And if that wasn’t kismet with the character's name, I don’t know what is. She had the perfect comedic timing and held her own against these three guys (four male characters), making this a delight on the ears. I encourage you to listen to this one. It’s certainly a case of the audiobook was better. And there’s nothing that says you can’t get stuck in a festive snowstorm with four fit AF guys in April. I mean, it’s snowing somewhere in the world, so it’s the perfect time to crack this one open. Do you like your books funny?
