While recently, I've been on stories and livestreams solely, posting time has started again! Three weeks past, I went home to my dormitory and saw a star on the sky (it was 9.30 p.m.) As basically always, I had 'Astro del Ciel' in my mind. There it was that I saw my faith testimony in a picture in my inner eye- the above is it. The Virgin of Garabandal in front of the starry sky, holding the earth in her hands, pointing to Argentina. When I was extremely in desperation because of the heretical professors who confused me (I had no catechesis before confirmation) this song found me through the papal Christmas Eve Mass. Two weeks later, back to Münster, I felt an urge to listen to it again. As I didn't knew the Italian title anymore, I looked it up and encountered an article saying that Silent Night was Pope Francis' favourite song. When I finally found the Italian version, I couldn't stop listening to it. My confusion went away within like two weeks, for soon after I heard about the Marian apparitions in this Spanish village. Not being a convinced Catholic yet though my conversion, I had still many doubts as to the Church doctrine. Then I read the Blessed Mother saying that the Pope is the representative of Her Son on Earth. Now, my faith has made a grand leap through World Youth Day. I can testify that Christ is fully present in the Holy Eucharist for I sat before the Blessed Sacrament and felt comfort and closeness. In the meantime, developing through the last months, I came to love Holy Mass more and more for now (thanks to @youcat ) I realized we truly are at Calvary there, that Christ actualizes His redeeming Sacrifice every time new. What shaped me the most through the last year is clearly the motto of WYD- namely Luke 1:39 "Mary arose and went with haste". Because how she carried Christ to her cousin, she did to me so I'll now carry Him further🥰
