If you want a fantastic character meal at Disney World, I highly suggest Topolino's Terrace at Riviera Resort. The character meal is only available for breakfast, so it's not an easy reservation to get, but the food is outstanding. I got the Steak and Eggs, but you also get assorted pastries! (The apple crumb muffin is super tasty). And of course the characters are so cute! You get to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their Artist garb! CHARACTER DININGS ✨ Character dinings are something Amy and I have always made sure to do, they are a staple for a Disney vacation! This is the best way to see some of your favourite characters without a long wait in the park! There are several different options, and we have tried most of them! Your choices are either character dinings in the parks, or at deluxe resorts. Keep in mind that if you are doing one in the park, you have to have a park ticket for that day. While we love many of our character dinings in the parks, they just can’t compare to deluxe resort character dinings! These are absolutely top notch, and the charm of the characters are always phenomenal! The character dinings in the parks tend to be busier, so you usually get less interaction than you might find in a deluxe resort. This isn’t to say they aren’t still awesome and adorable, but just something to keep in mind! (Also, some we haven’t loved, others we know did. But we have done so many, that we’re more critical!) If you are utilizing the dining plan, or are planning on multiple character dinings then I would absolutely mix it up! But if you’re only doing 1 or 2, then I would be selective with your choices! Topolino’s is my absolute favourite character dining, I will do it every single time I go. It has Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Daisy, and the food is not buffet style. And as of right now, Ohana is holding second place, with Crystal Palace in third! The best part about booking us as your free travel planners? We also book your dining 60 days before your trip at 6a in the morning! We will also book your enchanting extras at midnight 60 days beforehand! Looking to treat yourself to a signature fine dining experience next time you come to Walt Disney World? Then you should try Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Rivera Resort. I had the opportunity to try this signature rooftop dining experience straight from the Riviera this weekend. Of course, I started with a glass of Vuve in the lobby bar while we waited to be sat. While everything sounded amazing on the menu, I started with the celery root and black truffle soup. It is not pictured as I was too busy enjoying it and forgot to take a pic. For my entree I had the classic sole meunière. To satisfy my sweet tooth, I shared the warm chocolate cake which had a Carmel center 🤤 Dinner was great but really it was all about the sunset terrace views! The best part if fine dining is not your thing, you can still enjoy the terrace even if you aren’t dining at Topolino’s! Pro tip: park at Hollywood Studios and take the Skyliner over to the resort.
