Similar to Peacocks, the male Great Argus Pheasant will fluff out his tail feathers to try and impress the female. You probably know Alfred from the very loud call he makes as he tries to attract his partner Frida who you can just see at the edge of the frame. Great Argus Pheasants are native to the jungles of southeast Asia. Mike and Sully had a monstrous time in Hollywood Studios this evening. We grabbed a snack at ABC Commissary. (Holy moly, that Buffalo chicken grilled cheese was a sleeper! SO good.) Then we started cashing in on our back to back lightining lanes thanks to Stand By Skipper. Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, and Smugglers Run. We also squeezed in Rise of the Resistance via Stand By and spent some time at Baseline Taphouse. Tomorrow, we'll be in Epcot! . . . Best friend trip Disney Trip Hollywood Studios Disneybound

Y’ALL I WENT TO PIXIE HOLLOW 😭😭😭 I cannot BELIEVE I got to ride Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies in the brand new Fantasy Springs port in Tokyo DisneySea! 🌊 This ride is like a slow moving dark ride but outside! ☀️ It kinda reminded me of the Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train which used to be at Disney California Adventure. 🐛 This ride was SO sweet and as a fan of the Pixie Hollow movie series, I noticed SO many little nods to the movies!! My favorite was the James Hook hair comb in the queue! 🎥🍿 You get to go through all four seasons as you help Tinker Bell by helping deliver parcels through Pixie Hollow!! 🧚🏻 This one was on the shorter side BUT Cheese the mouse is there and he looks AMAZING!! 🧀 I wish I could’ve stayed on this ride all day long and it has me dreaming of an entire Pixie Hollow land one day. 🥹 Tell me in the comments what YOU want to see most from Fantasy Springs! 🌷✨ #TokyoDisneyResort #TokyoDisneySea #FantasySprings @tokyodisneyresort_official @disneyparks

🎟️ Rope Dropping Part One ❓What is Rope Dropping? This is the moment the park officially opens. For example if the park opens at 9 am for regular guests and 8:30 for Disney World resort guests then rope dropping you would be in the park and ready to go before 8:30. 🎬 Benefits ✅ Good way to beat the crowds first thing in the morning ✅ Can start your day knocking out a big attraction that will have a long wait later in the day ✅ Or can knock out several attractions depending on what area of the park you start in 🎯 Tip: I suggest getting to the park at least 15-20 minutes before early entry (the time resort guests can enter). That way you have gone through security and scanned into the park and are ready to start your day. Ran into this guy at Beach Club Resort a couple weeks ago! Sometimes characters will pop by resorts to greet guests in the lobby or outside. Dale was with Chip and Daisy outside the back of Beach Club’s lobby. There was even a Disney photographer there to capture professional photos that could be downloaded through PhotoPass. I’ve met these three together at Coronado Springs, and have met others including Thumper at AKL and Goofy in his 50th anniversary suit at Pop Century. I don’t believe there’s a schedule to know when or where characters will visit resorts, but if you happen to see a brightly colored shuttle with character names on it parked out front of a resort, that means there’s characters visiting for meet-and-greets. Okay hopefully by now you all know who this beautiful lady is, if not, this is Tomo and she's a Tawny Frogmouth. My understanding is Tomo has been at the park for quite some time now and was previously an ambassador animal at Rafiki's Planet Watch. Now she's retired to the Maharajah Jungle Trek and spends most of her days hanging out in the back of the habitat. Tawny Frogmouths are found throughout most of Australia (Yes, Australia again, I'll give Tomo a pass though because she's a queen). They are not picky when it comes to habitats and are found in almost any habitat type, but tend to not be in heavy rainforests and treeless deserts. They have also adapted well to humans and will nest in parks and gardens. They also have a unique hunting style during the day while they're resting. They will sit in tree tops with their mouths open and when an insect flies in, they'll snap their mouth shut. Roundup of some of the animals I spotted during my stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge two weeks ago! There’s over two dozen different species roaming throughout the resort. We had a room overlooking Sunset Savanna the first two nights then moved to a room with a partial savanna view which was in a corner but still got a ton of visitors throughout the day. We were actually Pixie Dusted with the partial savanna view outside our second room! If you’re planning a stay at AKL, I highly recommend booking a savanna view room, so you can sit on your private balcony to watch the animals wander and eat. BUT, even if you book a room without a savanna view, there’s plenty of balconies, overlooks, and other areas around the two resort buildings to view the animals.
