🌸 Staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - the rooms 🌸 This deluxe resort has been on my bucket list for quite some time, and I was lucky enough to experience it for the first time earlier this month. One of the main reasons I wanted to stay here was the theming in the rooms. They are beautifully decorated in pastel hues with subtle references to Mary Poppins all around you. It really does feel as grand as the name suggests! There is so much choice when it comes to room types as well, so there is something to suit everyone. Standard rooms will have two queen beds or one king bed, while suites and villas offer more space and additional amenities like a kitchen and washer/dryer. I also love the variety of views that you can get depending on the room location. Top tip! For the most magical experience, choose a room that offers views of the Magic Kingdom and the fireworks. Alternatively, for a more calm and relaxing vibe, think about choosing a room that overlooks the resort's gardens or the Seven Seas Lagoon. 1. Set Reasonable Expectations. It’s so tempting to set incredible goals and expectations for all you hope to do, but remember that setting realistic goals for the day will leave you feeling more satisfied. Talk to your people about the top 3-5 things you hope to do. Everything else you do will feel like a bonus! 🤯 2. Utilize Early Entry! This perk is only available to guests staying at Walt Disney World® Resorts and other select hotels. Using this extra time to knock out some of those heavy hitters like Peter Pan’s Flight or Space Mountain can make a big difference in your day. By taking on these rides early in the day, you avoid those longer lines and create space for yourself to enjoy other things! 🦜 3. Head Left! For some reason, most people tend to head right once they enter the park. This means that rides to the left of the castle, like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Pirates of the Caribbean tend to have shorter wait times first thing in the morning and the times creep up as the day goes on. Conquering this section of the park before the sun is high in the sky will help you stay cool. ⬅️ 4. Pace Yourself. Like I said earlier, a big trip like this can be overwhelming and stressful - not to mention the Florida heat! Pace yourself by taking strategic breaks to enjoy shows in the air conditioning, savor a table service or character dining meal, and simply soak up the magic. Breaking up the day and pacing yourself can help you do more and really enjoy the day because you haven’t used up all your energy and you’re dragging by the end. 1900 Park Fare | An Honest Review My dad used to take me to 1900 Park Fare every year as a little girl. When we saw it was reopening we immediately needed reservations! Although we were sad it wasn’t the original characters, we were excited to experience something new! All of the characters that you will meet all made a wish that came true ✨ When you arrive, you receive a card to write your wish. During your meal Jiminy Cricket will host a wishing ceremony! *Honestly a missed opportunity that Asha was not at the breakfast* The regular characters for 1900 Park Fare are Cinderella, Mirabel, Tiana, and Aladdin. Unfortunately Tiana was not at our meal, but we had Snow White instead! For a breakfast buffet, I thought the food options were great! Personally I choose breakfast over dinner for two reasons. The main reason is pricing. If I can have the same character experience for a cheaper price I will choose that! Second is the menu. I feel like it is super hard to mess up breakfast and Disney never misses for me! Favorite items I will go back for are the Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup, the beef and potato hash, and the breakfast croissant pizza 🤤 Plus, the endless flow of POG juice at our table was a nice touch 👌🏻 IYKYK Have you tried 1900 Park Fare?!
