Hallo ihr Lieben ✨ Es ist Samstag...und wir mitten im langen Wochenende Momentan hat mich der Alltag und mein Mamaleben voll im Griff und um ehrlich zu sein wird es in Zukunft auch nicht weniger werden. My first visit to the Magic Kingdom as an adult was absolutely magical! Having last been as a wee one, I wasn't sure if the park would live up to my wonderful memories. I'm so happy to report that not only did it live up to them, it EXCEEDED them! It was the perfect balance of nostalgia and impressiveness! I’ll admit, when the refurbishment of The Contemporary was themed to The Incredibles, I was a bit skeptical & anxious. Is Genie+ worth it at Hollywood Studios? Honest answer here👉🏼 YES, it’s worth it! One of our favorite reasons to use Genie+ at DHS is because there are opportunities to get on some of our favorite rides twice. Let’s break it down… My first choice for a Lightning Lane during the 7 AM booking window is Slinky Dog Dash. With early entry rope drop, we can either go straight to Rise of the Resistance or easily get on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Toy Story Mania. We love to take advantage of those early morning wait times right after the park opens to jump on Smugglers Run and/or Alien Swirling Saucers. Later in the day, we can eventually get Lightning Lanes to those same rides so we get to ride a second time 🙌🏼 The shows and character meet and greets usually have shorter wait times, so we use them to fill in the blanks between Lightning Lanes as needed. One BIG piece of advice when it comes to rope dropping Hollywood Studios is to have a backup plan! Sometimes rides are down and you want to use your My Disney Experience app to make sure you know what's available as you're entering the park!
