Wondering if the @tushbaby is worth it? 👶 We were hesitant to get one since we had several different types of baby carriers already, but now we totally get the hype! For us it actually fills a different niche than a carrier. We still use a carrier when we are putting her in and she’s staying in; using the @tushbaby is our new replacement for when we would otherwise be holding her! It’s perfect for Disney trips - when we’re constantly picking her up and putting her down, turning her around to see characters or watch a show, and just holding her for LONG periods of time. ✈️☀️🏰For East Coasters, the trek to Anaheim to visit Disneyland is costly and time consuming for what some might consider a “smaller” experience. Disneyland fans, what do you feel like is THE best part about visiting the OG West Coast magic hub and makes it SO WORTH the trip? 🤩 🏰 It has many unique, classic attractions, (some) superior versions of WDW attractions (and yes I know not everyone agrees), and entire lands you won’t find in Florida. And come on, you can get Mickey-shaped sourdough bread! 🤯. You can park hop so easily because of the size, get back and forth from even a non Disney hotel easily using just your feet, and even combine it with a beach vacation. 2024 Summer Highlights at Disneyland Resort! Pixar Fest, a celebration of friendship and beyond, is taking place now through Aug. 4, 2024, at Disneyland Resort. The festival brings heartwarming entertainment featuring stories from Pixar Animation Studios, in addition to colorful décor, themed food and beverage items, commemorative merchandise, and more will be available. “Fantasmic!” Disney’s longest-running nighttime spectacular, returns to Rivers of America in Disneyland Park beginning May 24, 2024. Refreshed moments from the iconic show will feature live performances and special effects that take guests on a journey through Mickey Mouse’s imagination, filled with fantastic events and images as seen in classic films from Walt Disney Animation Studios such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “Aladdin” and “Tangled.” A new climactic battle sequence between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent will be brought to life with updated special effects, along with the return of the thrilling shipboard confrontation between Peter Pan and Captain Hook from “Peter Pan.” When the show returns, guests will be able to enjoy this spectacular alongside the Rivers of America with standby viewing and will be able to line up no earlier than two hours before showtime. Tour time! We recently stayed in a refurbished Resort View room at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and we took LOTS of pictures. Here's what we loved: ⭐ 371 sq. feet with a great use of space. 2 Queen beds, but plenty of places to sit that weren't *on* the bed with a comfy chair and a sofa that converts to a daybed. If you did want to sit on the beds and read, the bolsters were super-comfy. ⭐ Storage: 6-drawer dresser plus solid closet space and a few additional shelves in the closet. Easy storage space for suitcases and shoes underneath the beds, and a shelf underneath the vanity in the bathroom. ⭐ Double-sink vanity with tub/shower and toilet in a separate room helps everyone cycle through morning prep. We found H2O products in dispensers in the shower. ⭐ Bedtime convenience features like individual headboard reading lights and small bedside shelves with chargers. ⭐ Little touches of Mickey everywhere, Artwork on the walls, patterns on the curtains, and even a hidden Mickey in one of the lampshades. ⭐ Small balcony space with two chairs and a little table to enjoy the view of the courtyard. 2024 rates: $650 - $950 per night. Kicking off our first park day at Magic Kingdom! We typically always do this, there’s just something so special about walking down Main Street USA looking at the castle…totally sets the tone for your trip! ✨🏰 It’s going to be HOT today, planning to spend some time in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, and wrap up around lunch time - afternoon naps and maybe some pool time back at the Boardwalk! We are also SUPER excited about our dinner at Topolinos Terrace - this has become something we do every trip, and we get to see our favorite waiter, Samuel! Crystal Palace is a great place for Breakfast in Magic Kingdom. Also, fun fact, outside of DCL this is the only place on land that you can get Churro waffles. Worth it just for that. Day 1 Recap! . We flew into Orlando this afternoon and Lorelai did AWESOME on the flight! We headed to Universal’s Aventura Hotel. This is one of their prime value hotels and it is amazing! We have a kid’s suite connected to a standard two queen room since we are traveling with our moms. I’ll be posting specifically about the room later! . We intended to go into the parks tonight but ended up crunched for time, so instead we had dinner at Aventura’s quick service location, Urban Pantry, and it was DELISH! They had a bunch of stations including build your own woks, pizza, and more! Super high quality for a quick service! . Then, we headed for a little pool time! It was Lorelai’s first time in a pool and she liked it! She was tired though so we’ll see how she does when she isn’t tired 😂 . After we put Lorelai to bed, she stayed in the room with her Mommom while we enjoyed Aventura’s rooftop bar! Now, to bed to get well rested for a big day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure!

Roundup of some of the animals I spotted during my stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge two weeks ago! There’s over two dozen different species roaming throughout the resort. We had a room overlooking Sunset Savanna the first two nights then moved to a room with a partial savanna view which was in a corner but still got a ton of visitors throughout the day. We were actually Pixie Dusted with the partial savanna view outside our second room! If you’re planning a stay at AKL, I highly recommend booking a savanna view room, so you can sit on your private balcony to watch the animals wander and eat. BUT, even if you book a room without a savanna view, there’s plenty of balconies, overlooks, and other areas around the two resort buildings to view the animals. Let's talk BREAKFAST in Disney World! When I'm not on vacation, I'm not normally a breakfast person. But funnily enough, my favorite meals in Disney are actually breakfast dishes! What are some of your favorites? I listed mine below! 🍳 #1 favorite: Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, pictures 1 and 2. The carving station with the ham and Boma mustard, and the coconut oatmeal are the two standouts for me! Plus, unlimited POG Juice! This is a tradition for us every trip! We like to explore the resort and visit the animals on the Savanna after our meal as well. 🍳 #2 favorite: Kona Café at the Polynesian, picture 3. The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are famous for a reason! The crunch of the nuts mixed with the sweetness of the pineapple is heavenly! Plus, the vibe and atmosphere of the Poly make it one of my favorite resorts to visit. 🍳 #3 favorite: Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club, pictures 4-7. This is a great deal, and the food is fantastic! There's an option on the menu for your choice of an entree, plus the enhancement buffet (fruit, yogurt, biscuits & gravy, etc.). The Breakfast Flatbread is my absolute favorite, and the biscuits & gravy from the buffet are a great addition.
