長野県上田市、安楽寺八角堂を訪れました。 当日はあいにくの雨。前日に泊まっていた旅館でスタッフ全員お揃いの傘を貸していただきました。 八角堂は鎌倉時代末期に建築された禅宗様建築。国宝に指定されています。 4重の塔に見えますが、実は初重は約3間の裳階です。 「扇垂木だね。これは小屋裏の中で集中してくる垂木をどう納めるか、大工の腕の見せ所なんだ。」 と所長の菅野。 「凄まじい数の尾垂木ですね！」屋根を支える組み物の複雑さにびっくりするスタッフ一同。 普段なかなか見ることが出来ない部位の納まりを図面と実物で確認。 充実の研修となりました。 We visited Octagonal Pagoda of Anrakuji Temple in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. * ･ 田植え体験🌱 仕事の関係で、 上代の海に降る雪という日本酒に使われる お米の田植えをしてきました😆🌾 約1週間、コロナでダウンしていたけれど なんとか参加することが出来てよかった！ 田んぼ自体は、子供の頃に実家のお手伝いで稲の種まき～稲刈りまで一通り経験したことはあるけれど、大人になってからはしたことがない🫢 裸足で入る田んぼの中の感触に、初めはびびっていたけれど、慣れると泥の中が気持ちいい🤣笑 みんな横一列になり、ひと苗ずつ丁寧に植えていく。 同じ旅館業の方々や、幼稚園の小さい子たちまで、泥んこになりながらも一生懸命植えていました☺️🌱 私たちが植えたこの苗が、秋には立派な黄金の穂となり、そして美味しいお酒になるなんて、とても感慨深い。 少ししかお手伝い出来ていないけれど、少しでも携わることが出来て嬉しい😊 良い経験になりました🙌🏻 写真は若女将さんと、可愛い後輩の子と一緒に🤍 2024.5.21 ･ ･ ･ #田植え#農作業#田んぼ #上代#海に降る雪#日本酒 #鳥取県#鳥取#山陰#景色 #tottori #tottoripic #drive #spring #nature #active #nationaltreasure
