PT day. Recovering from the effects gout had on me last week, still definitely not 100%, but on my way. Whole body resistance training today, try for a run tomorrow to get my cardio in, no more biking for cardio for a while, had my bike nicked right off my porch, so I’ll have to save up for a new one. Can’t believe they came right up onto the porch to take it, honestly can’t remember if I even chained it up. Rough week, rain finally went away, but I got gout and spent a few days off my feet completely. Was lacking for motivation and really struggled to control my urge to eat, but I know where that road leads and I know it’s a place I don’t want to be anymore, so back on the horse. City2Surf in 12 weeks time, so it’s well past time I started getting ready for it! Back in the gym, went easy, but I showed up and that’s half of the battle. First time lifting for max weight instead of max reps. Have been doing a regular deadlifts at 35kg, so started out at 50kg, then went to 10kg at a time to a max 90kg deadlift! Is it record breaking?
