Had a lovely couple of hours down the beach and park today with the gremlins 😍 The 2 oldest are obviously "to cool" to come out with us anymore 😂😂 So xander loved making sand angels and eating the sand 💙 Sasha-grace was just her usual anti-social self and wanted to kill everyone who went near her and her barbie 😳 BUT she did allow Craig to swing her around and then found it hilarious (so did the rest of us) when he nearly fell over from being so dizzy 😂 Cohen made a volcano and was whinging about everything 🙄 Kaleb... Well take a look at the photo he was loving life like he always does 😁😁 Zach made a friend so spent most of his time playing football then all of them had a paddle in the sea. As a competitor with limited vision, Olivia arrived at the Fall Festival in Ponoka - with a few nerves, but great spirits - stepping into the ring for one of her first events. By Saturday, this tremendous competitor, and her partner Mozart, took home the Title of 0.60m Open Jumper Champion. Day 318/365 How often have you stayed in a pain or experience that kept you stuck, not knowing how to move forward? Hoping, a positive change will come & your life will then be different and successful? He came to me with great regret. He frowned as he explained his struggle "If only these things hadn't happened to me, if only things were different, if only my past was better - if only I had better support, better managers, better experiences...then my life would have been very different. I would have been elsewhere in my life. I would have been happy and successful. My family would be happier, my children would be proud and my life would have been sorted. I have lost 10yrs of my life...i am not sure, if you can even understand what that means" he said. I listened patiently as he narrated his past experiences; his challenging work life, bad managers, being targeted, exploitation, wrong choices, wrong people, wrong career moves. He recognised and could see he was much more effective, talented and efficient in his skill-sets than many of his peers, superiors, his colleagues who were doing much better career wise, financially. This made him wallow in his pain, in his past experiences. He blamed his ill-fate, his circumstances, his difficult managers, his own choices, his life. He was waiting for that one opportunity to change his life, to prove himself, to feel on par with the rest, to make up for time lost according to him. It was unfortunate that he had to go through a series of misfortune, wrong timing, wrong choices. I could see how his past experiences were defining him &kept him stuck. His vision was limited. We explored and worked with various therapy tools and modalities to break free from his own thinking patterns that had enslaved him. It's been four months into therapy now, he has learnt to feel secure in being him. He has learnt to trust himself, take accountability, be in the moment & yes, that has made all the difference! Today, he is in his dream job, a role that he has been seeking for long, an organisation that he desired to be working with.
