The new regulation presents decisive measures to end the harmful and environmentally wasteful practice of destroying unsold consumer products, as stated by the European Commission. It is time to put an end to the ‘take, produce, dispose’ model, which is harmful to our planet, our health and our economy. Next steps towards the adoption of the regulation. The ESPR (European Pillar of Social Rights) regulation will now have to be formally adopted by the Parliament and the Council of Member States in the coming months, with the aim of entering into force by the end of 2024. Unsold garments and accessories, which are in stock, entrusted to Tintoria Emiliana’s know-how and expertise in Upcycling practices, comply with the strictest international regulations in terms of healthfulness criteria; this allows the parameters of colour fastness to be respected, while respecting the management of chemical, mineral and natural products in favour of the environment. Each processing/customisation defined with the brand, becomes the concrete possibility of repositioning the articles of clothing on the market. Er stond "parkeerplaats" boven, maar ik vond hem zo ook wel leuk :-) Vanmorgen ben ik - samen met mijn praktische wederhelft - onze zaal nog eens gaan opmeten. "Onze" zaal: dat is de Waai, de gemeentelijke fuifzaal in het centrum van Geel. Na editie 1 stonden we voor 2 uitdagingen. Eigenlijk 3: 🌿bredere gangpaden 🌿meer zitplaatsen bij de bar - en ook het liefst... 🌿meer standplaatsen 1 en 2 lijken 3 tegen te spreken, maar... we zijn erin geslaagd! Door de standen iets minder diep te maken, de zaal vantevoren in te delen in standplaatsen en meer kleinere standplaatsen aan te bieden, hebben we in plaats voor 58 standhouders + 2 foodtrucks = 60. De mailing naar geïnteresseerde standhouders is vervroegd naar midden juni. Let wel: 10 extra standplaatsen doet niets af aan het diversiteitsprincipe. Nóg meer variatie, niet "meer van hetzelfde". Ik word al happy als ik de Waai alleen nog maar zie, echt waar. Editie 1 was een groot succes.
