Diamant Strassenbar FRANKFURTER BAR Freitag, 10.5.2024 / Frankfurter Strasse 80 / 18-22 Uhr / Offenbach Innenstadt Offenbach ist eine Stadt mit vielen wilden Sperrmüllhaufen. In den kommenden Wochen produzieren wir mit der Künstlerin VIVIANE NIEBLING an drei verschiedenen Orten in der Offenbacher Innenstadt STRASSENBARS auf der Basis von vorgefundenen Sperrmüllansammlungen. Die Bars werden jeweils innerhalb eines Tages vor Ort mit Freunden und Nachbarn gebaut und noch am selben Abend gemeinsam in Betrieb genommen. Getränke und Essen kommen aus der näheren Umgebung. Die Bars werden nach der Straße benannt, in der sie sich befinden. Nach einer ausgiebigen Feier verwandelt sich die Bar am Ende des Abends wieder in einen Spermüllhaufen, der am nächsten Morgen von den Stadtwerken abgeholt wird. Las Meninas a San Marco Artist: Manolo Valdés, Spain As part of the Venice Biennale, 13 bronze sculptures line the Piazzetta San Marco through June 2024. The sculptures are inspired by the 1656 painting by artist Diego Velázquez, titled Las Meninas. Led by the monumental “Infanta Margarita” who stands at the center of the original painting, the trailing figures are “Reina Mariana”. Our May Artist of the Month Exhibit is now on display, and it's delightful. The lobby walls feature two local artists, both alumni of Brighton Highschool: Photographer Kylie Pregill and Mixed Media Artist Savannah Cottam. Savannah Cottam, is a visual artist studying design & architecture at the University of Utah. She is passionate about the environment and people's well-being. Savannah aims to use art to drive positive change and meaningful transformations in people's lives. Kylie Pregill @kyliepregillphoto , a Utah-based photographer, specializes in landscape and wildlife photography. She developed a passion for nature as a child and photography as a teenager. Kylie aims to share the beauty of nature through her lens. The shared exhibit will be showcased at Cottonwood Heights City Hall lobby 2277 E. This is the largest mural in Santa Cruz and my favorite of the many beautiful murals we have here. I don’t normally use 10 photos in a post, but this mural is massive! These scenes, plus more that I didn’t include here, cover the sound wall that runs the length of Bayview Elementary School along Mission Street and into the parking lot of the strip mall next to the school.
