I have had Secret's antiperspirant in the Rosewater scent forever so it was time to use it up. Someone bought it for me when I was visiting another city. Rosewater was a good antiperspirant and I know it's availabe almost everywhere here in Hungary. 🌹🌹🌹 I like to apply antiperspirants before bed. The cream formula in a twist-up tube was mess-free and it kept me dry even during a long day. The scent was fresh but a bit sharp in my opinion. The Aveeno cleanser was very nice but no better than my fave Cerave cleanser which is a much better value. ☀️Empties ☀️ I’ve been saving this empties for a while mostly because i didn’t know if i wanted to keep posting on this account or not. To be honest Instagram has lost the “flame” for me. I dont find the fun and pleasure by posting here anymore nor do i have fun having to search for my faves pages since i dont get shown the posts. Instagram prefers to show me sponsored and unrelatable posts to my accounts instead of the accounts that i really follow and interact. All this to say that i am more and more falling into a “conscious consumerism”. I havent bought makeup since November last 2023 and just because i had a gift card. I guess my priorities are changing and now i find more happiness getting through my products and seing my makeup/skincare/stationery getting used up rather than buying more. I’m not restricting myself with low/no buys but i guess i got a mentality shift where i dont have the need to buy it anymore. I won’t lie and of course when im going through a stressful phase the urge to just go to the store and buy something is there. But i managed to change those impulses. I’m also in therapy so maybe it has something to do with it. Finding happiness from the inside instead of materials. Also i found a new hobby that i absolutely love which is coloring. I’ve always had a lot of stationery and even though i bullet journal i never found the perfect use for all the markers, until i started coloring. Now i can use my markers and relax by doing it. I don’t know where all this rant is going. I guess this is a small update for those who care. I have been thinking about starting to post on tik tok my empties and pans since instagram isnt really for me anymore but im still deciding. I would love to post my stuff somewhere like i used to love do it here but i havent found the perfect solution yet. Let me know if you have ideas. My beauty empties plus some makeup that I’ve recently replaced with fresh versions/ options. I’ve really been loving the @rescuemdskin serum whenever my skin is irritable. I also used up some long-term holy grail: @buildskincare b-wash, @skin1004official sunscreen and the Nivea in shower cream. I also liked the @starkskincare body oil and @topicals slather. As for the makeup, I use the @phytosurgence condensate blush and divine daylight spectral shine. I replaced these with new ones. It's nourishing, looks beautiful, and the taste and smell is sweet but not obtrusive in any way. I don't notice the smell or taste at all. It is not sticky or tacky. It doesn't slide around and the pigment doesn't gather in the corners of my mouth. I prefer this even to the @fentybeauty Gloss Bomb. I had 2 or 3 of these and I think I've used all of them up since my nobuy year started. Especially since the sprayer often breaks before you can finish it. @cosrx Aloe SPF ($13.50) - I don’t know if the formula has been changed or if it’s because due to WFH I don’t wear as much makeup, but I don’t like this as much. It’s heavy and pills. I’ll use up what I have but will not repurchase. @korres Wild Rose oil ($54) - I use this as a serum. Not sure if it’s still being made, but it’s one of the Vit Cs that I can tolerate. Would be bummed if it isn’t. @katesomervilleskincare Goat Milk Cleanser ($44) - I really like this, but only would buy on a good sale. 2024 empties total $271.82. #skincareempties
