But I decided I want my empties posts to be ✨pretty✨ So here’s my shower gel empties (with a bonus kitchen exclusive empty that was not included previously) Starting with Passion from the Valentine’s Day collection, this shower gel was beautiful. A little runny but nothing terrible. The scent is bright, juicy, and fruity. I loved the smell of this shower gel so much that I bought two bottles (saving one in my stash 😎). With so many scents to try I probably wouldn’t purchase any more beyond the two bottles I got, but I did really enjoy this shower gel and it’s really what got me hooked. Next is Yog Nog, which I had never tried before. I ordered this during the freshness sale for half off. I was not impressed by the texture, it was super runny and messy. The scent is nice, but nothing special imo! I normally love gourmands but lately I’m more of a fruity-scented girly 🤷🏻♀️ I understand the love for this scent but personally, probably will not repurchase! Then we have Snow Fairy, another first for me! I got the smaller size because I wasn’t sure if I would like this scent, but I loved it so much. It’s bubblegum candy sweet, and has beautiful iridescent shimmer. I loved the texture of this shower gel the most of the three, it wasn’t runny at all and lathered up beautifully. I’ll be buying more of this next year! Last but not least is Cinders from the February Kitchen box. I really loved this shower gel, the almond oil and spices were so cozy and comforting. New Sunscreen in the rotation + current weekend read. Loving the Better Screen™ UV Serum SPF 50+ Facial Sunscreen with Collagen Peptide from @kiehls which is a lightweight sunscreen serum that helps protect against sun damage and helps visibly correct early signs of aging. I love the texture of this sunscreen and love the glow it leaves- I usually skip moisturizer when using this as it’s extremely moisturizing and will leave a glow- I don’t mind this though but if you have oily skin you may not like this. Here are all the body lotions I’ve emptied in the past 3 years😱 (body butters & body oils coming soon) I bet you can tell I love trying out new stuff but then I’ve also found a few favourites🥰 2nd slide: @bathandbodyworksindia I love the body “creams” more than the body “lotions”. They are thicker, more hydrating and the fragrance is so much stronger. I can literally go without wearing a perfume with those. And these 2 are my favourite fragrances in the body cream range. The sandalwood one smells insane (reminds me of a temple 🛕) and the bourbon is marketed for the men and rightly so! But I love using it on my more confident, boss babe days. The body lotions are good if you’re looking for something light weight and with medium fragrance strength. 3rd slide: @suganda.co Love the lactic acid body lotion so much. It helps in smoothening & brightening the skin. 3 empty bottles of that and 1 of the vitamin c body lotion, which is also a good everyday, light weight body lotion. 4th slide: body gels @thefaceshopindia_official a really good, multi use aloe vera gel. I loved that it wasn’t artificially coloured. @thebodyshopindia my favourite out of the bunch. Loved using it on my face but mostly on my body. If you’re looking for something cooling and extremely light weight yet hydrating for the summers look no further! @niveaindia it was okay-ish. Lightweight? yes, hydrating? Uhm, moderately. My skin felt parched after a few hours of applying, which wasn’t the case with the other body gels. 5th slide: @vaselineindia & @aveenoindia I love the Vaseline ‘cocoa glow’ line, not only because of the intoxicating fragrance but also the formula is everything 🤌🏼 the lotion is so creamy and hydrating. However, the texture is super nice as it was light and not too heavy. Very light citrus scent and the rubbing sensation is so relaxing. Skin is super soft after cleansing. 3️⃣ #isntree Onion Newpair Gel Cream 👍 One of the few gel texture that does not dry out my face and kept my skin hydrated without developing dry patches during winter. Very light fragrance but can't pinpoint scent, not onion for sure. Absorbs easily. 4️⃣ Isntree Onion Newport Essence Toner 👌 Kept my skin from major breakouts, might be due to the no fragrance. Watery texture and feels lightweight no matter the amount of time it is layered. Overall decent product with minor breakouts at random times. . Overall didn't have any wow product that became holy grail but overall no major issues with any of the products. My main focus has been hydration after winter which is why I went through so much bodycare. @sundayriley CEO Brightening Serum ✅ 9/10 One of my favorite vitamin C serums, this one is highly effective and stable with THD ascorbate. The only downside is the high pricetag. @oseamalibu Anti-aging Body Balm* ✅ 7/10 This body balm is like a cross between a cream and an oil. It's softening and hydrating but I sometimes struggle with the pump design. @oseamalibu Undaria Algae Body Butter* ✅ 9/10 Super thick and incredibly hydrating, this is my go to for dry winter months. It does a great job of making my skin soft and moisturized. @oseamalibu Undaria Cleansing Body Polish* ✅ 8/10 This is a sugar scrub based physical exfoliant that becomes a creamy lather in water. It's super softening but I prefer their salt scrub a tad more. @iotabody Supermatcha Body Lotion* ✅ 8/10 A lightweight body lotion that melts like water after application and absorbs quickly.
