She definitely needed to wake up and realise she deserved better Logan is just an ๐ Colt, on the other hand, steals the show! Heโs the classic bad boy with a heart of gold. An ex-hockey player with a hidden vulnerability? Sign me up! Colt is charming, handsome, and fiercely loyal, even if it means putting himself on the line. Definitely the highlight of this book! The buildup of chemistry and romance is the main focus of the book, but thereโs also a little spice thrown in. It doesnโt take away from the plot, which is nice. The story has all the classic elements: a swoon-worthy MMC, great tension, and sizzling chemistry. Book Review: Don't Let Me Break by @authorkelsierae โญโญโญโญโญ/5 โIf you donโt marry him, I will.โ When I read Mia said this, I totally agree with her because at that point, if Kate don't marry Macklin, I will too, LOL. Gosh, Macklin is so adorable and swoon-worthy (heart eyes emoji.) Kate and Macklin's story makes my heart melt. I feel like there are a lot of "Awwww" moments in every chapters while I'm reading through it. Kate needs someone to be with her for her, not that her friends are horrible but they also have their own life, and Macklin's friendship helps Kate more than he thinks. I want to say Kate's friendship helps Macklin too but considering his action when their drama strikes, I don't know for sure. I want to shake some sense into him but I also understand him as well because Macklin also has his baggage and that is why Kate and he formed their friendship in the first place. But I do know one thing, Kate becomes stronger than before and she finally beaks free of her insecurity. Kelsie Rae makes me cry for her because I'm so proud of her and I want her to be happy and has someone who loves her dearly. And if Macklin doesn't pull his head out of his butt soon, I'm going to smack his head so hard! And don't let me start with their chemistry because that scene Blakely put them together at the gym is OH-SO-HOT (fan my face.) I will be speechless if Kate doesn't want to jump Macklin because Da**, I would do anything for him after that (still fan my face.) This book is so good with reversed grumpy-sunshine, friends to lovers, and age-gap plot. The story is adorable and enjoyable AF and I can't tell that it is angsty because even if Kate's and Macklin's situations are serious, there are a lot of funny moments in between as well. Book Review: Don't Let Me Go by @authorkelsierae "Holy crap on craker, Batman!" I cracked when I read this sentence and thought I'm going to qoute it in my review because it definitely represents my thought while I'm reading through this book. Brakely and Theo's love story is HOT, HOT, AND HOT (fan my face.) Their chemistry exposes from the beginning... oh, who I am kidding (roll eyes)... their chemistry has exposed since "Don't Let Me Fall" actually and I know that everyone who read that book has waiting for their book since. Theo is one of best friends of Blakely's brother so they have known each other for so long. One thing for sure, Blakely has been secretly in love with him forever and I think Theo has had a feeling for her since she was 15 years old but he has marked and acted on it as she is his sisiter instead. Blake's feeling for Theo makes a story angsty and intense. She tries to move on but it seems to backfire because Theo doesn't want anyone getting close to her. Their banters are very entertaining and makes me smile through the end. But it's not just that. I also have tears in my eyes for what Blake has been through with Theo's actions. Kelsie Rae makes me want to smack Theo's head a few times for his stubbornness too. But at the end, he finally see a light and what he does to win Blake back are so swooning and adorable AF. If you fell in love with "Don't Let Me Fall", you're going to fall in love with "Don't Let Me Go" too because Kelsie Rae still gets it. She is one of excellent writers who can make you smile, cry, and swoon over all in one book. Then when we got to the house I went on a rescue mission to save the roads which wind up in the light wells and gutters. I do this often as I assume they actually lead happier lives by the lake; but for the first time two of the roads were gripping me very very tight. Yes i considered keeping them attached me for as long as possible. Also saw the meanest spider I have ever seen.
