We shared the Parker House Rolls and Spreads and I got the Cabernet Braised Short Rib atop mashed potatoes and with carrots. It was different than the menu description but delicious nonetheless. Richard and I enjoyed a nice lunch at one of our go-to places at Disney, Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. I got the Vermont Cheddar Bacon Burger(one of my top three burgers on Disney property 😊🍔) and Richard got a Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. I still can’t fathom how he can eat hot soup when it is about 95° out today, but to each their own. lol. My burger and fries did not disappoint! Be forewarned, however, that this is a very messy burger to eat! I ended up using a knife and fork to conquer it. Happy Cinco de Mayo! I celebrated a day early with an incredible watermelon margarita at Yachtsman Steakhouse, a signature dining restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. My daughters have been asking to go back since we dined there over Thanksgiving Break with family. I mixed my butter with roasted garlic to make a delicious spread for my @bloomfieldfarms gluten free rolls. My husband and I shared a strip steak with a side of fries. The peppercorn sauce it was served with was so good! We also shared sides of truffle fries and mashed potatoes with our daughters. We enjoyed our meal but were disappointed in the change to the Yachtsman signature chocolate cake, which is no longer gluten free and no longer presented like a lighhouse. My daughters ate the new version and said it was not as good as the previous version that was safe for me to eat. If you still want chocolate cake, you can mobile order the 12 layer chocolate cake from Ale & Compass next door.

How many times have you ever watched fireworks from your hotel balcony??? This was a Water View room at Disney’s Yacht Club and those are the fireworks from EPCOT. We had dinner at Via Napoli and then we grabbed desserts in the France pavilion on the way back to the hotel. This resort is just a short walk or boat ride from the back entrance of EPCOT. I just recently returned home from a wonderful MVP conference at Walt Disney World, where I was able to stay at Disney’s Yacht Club. One of the best parts of this resort is the pool that is shared between the Yacht and the Beach Club resorts, Stormalong Bay. This is a sand-bottom pool that is HUGE and has arguably the coolest waterslide on property. There is a lazy river, a zero entry “sand bar” type area for the littles and lots of seating. There is even a raised platform for sunbathing that houses a pool table and incredible views. Another perk of this is that they do check to make sure you are staying at the resort before being allowed in. They will provide guests with wristbands. Pro tip: Make sure to bring your flip flops or even water shoes. This morning might've been off to a crazy start when by 11AM I hadn't even started to pack! Now, this is not unusual for me as I'm a chronic overpacker anyway (pic below)- but so far this time I've forgotten my watch, water bottle, lip balm...and the 12 min drive home is just too far 😄 BUT... Now Im all checked in with one of my MVP Besties and so happy to have my roomie! 🥰 ❤️🔥Got my gear at registration🎸🤘 💫Enjoyed a VERY Special dinner, for MVP Top Producers, that I was overjoyed to be invited to! Lors de mon dernier voyage, j’ai eu l’occasion de dormir au Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Voici ce que j’en retiens: 🛟 Le Disney’s Yacht Club Resort est situé à quelques minutes de marche du parc EPCOT. On entre par le International Gateway, une entrée un peu plus privée qui est directement dans la section World Showcase entre le pavillon de la France et du Royaume-Uni. Idéal si vous voulez commencer avec l’attraction Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ou si vous voulez profiter des nombreux festivals d’EPCOT. 🛟 Le Disney’s Yacht Club Resort est aussi d’ailleurs à quelques minutes de marche du mode de transport Disney Skyliner. Pour les fan de Disney’s Hollywood Studios c’est une façon très facile et agréable de si rendre. 🛟 La piscine du Disney’s Yacht Club Resort est à mon avis la plus belle piscine du Walt Disney World Resort. Il y a même du sable au fond de la piscine pour se sentir comme dans l’océan! 🛟 Les chambres sont très spacieuses et certaines chambres ont même un balcon!
