I just booked the B family for fall break at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, a deluxe resort located within the Walt Disney World Resort. Exploring the resort the first day and chilling while we wait for our room to be available, and the fun that will continue that evening (Disney Springs always; a tradition) is one of the most freeing feelings. It is often one of the best days of our trip. This photo was taken on our last trip when we stayed at Beach Club Villas (one of our home DVC resorts) for the first time. It was absolutely amazing. Loved the vibe of this resort. Loved the small size and location. Best part was that our room was right behind EPCOT. We could see Spaceship Earth, fireworks, and hear all the music from the balcony. Enjoyed an #aleandcompass breakfast, spent some time at #stormalongbay , known by many as “the best pool at Disney” Made my way to Epcot & joined the 1pm #virtualque for #Guardiansofthegalaxy. Bummed my boarding group callback was estimated as too late to make my flight, i spoke to a cast member. With some luck & a little #pixedust -he let me go in right then, in the lightning lane line! Yummy lunch at #coralreef next to their 6 million gallon aquarium. Feeling very spoiled by Disney and oh so grateful to @magicinthesuntravel for sending me on this (1st of its kind) pilot program for Disney’s Agent Education Masters! Very proud to be part of this team! Our official day 1! 🤩 We started the morning getting Joffrey’s coffee for the adults and then went to Contempo Cafe for the kids! 🤪 After breakfast, we packed up everything and had our luggage transferred to Yacht Club Resort while we headed to Disney Springs. 🚘 We shopped a little and then ate lunch and headed back to the resort. We changed into our swimmies and enjoyed Stormalong Bay! 💦 We played some games and did some activities around the pool and then went back to our rooms to get ready for dinner. We had a reservation at Ale & Compass and ate some delicious food! 😋 Then we hung out and watched fireworks from our balcony while eating some sweet treats! 🎆 We are already having so much fun and we have only just begun! While there are lots of reasons why I love this place, the two biggest reasons why we selected it are: 1 - It’s location in the Epcot resort area means that it is just a short walk or boat ride away from the entrance to Epcot and can also take a boat or the skyliner to Hollywood Studios. 2 - It's beachside water park area that offers 3 acres of aquatic fun for the whole family. Catch currents in an expansive sand-bottomed pool. From atop the mast of a life-sized shipwreck replica, zip down a 230-foot-long waterslide, one of the highest hotel slides at Walt Disney World Resort. Float down the lazy river on an inner tube, unwind in one of 3 whirlpool spas or simply relax on the elevated tanning deck. Children can wade into the main pool from the gently sloping, sandy beach and cool off in the Shipwreck Pool—complete with a miniature waterslide. Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of my family’s favorites. The rooms are spacious and you can’t beat the proximity to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the skyliner! But let’s be honest. My kids love it because of its pool area with the sandy bottom, lazy river, and huge water slide.
I just recently returned home from a wonderful MVP conference at Walt Disney World, where I was able to stay at Disney’s Yacht Club. One of the best parts of this resort is the pool that is shared between the Yacht and the Beach Club resorts, Stormalong Bay. This is a sand-bottom pool that is HUGE and has arguably the coolest waterslide on property. There is a lazy river, a zero entry “sand bar” type area for the littles and lots of seating. There is even a raised platform for sunbathing that houses a pool table and incredible views. Another perk of this is that they do check to make sure you are staying at the resort before being allowed in. They will provide guests with wristbands. Pro tip: Make sure to bring your flip flops or even water shoes. The pool area at Disney’s Beach Club is arguably the best pool at any Walt Disney World resort. With a pirate ship slide, sand bottom pool, whirlpool, wading pool, and lazy river, you’ll easily be able to cool off on your breaks from the parks. 🏴☠️ This family of four will be staying in a 2 Bedroom Villa where they will have a fully-equipped kitchen, separate bedrooms, two full bathrooms, AND a washer and dryer! A balcony is also guaranteed which is not always guaranteed at this resort. Awwwww, I ❤ happy clients! Julie is a mom of three kids under five, so this trip was no small feat. She and her family stayed at the Beach Club for five nights. They opted for just two days of single-park tickets because they were focused on Magic Kingdom for the littles and wanted to take advantage of the Beach Club's fabulous Stormalong Bay pool area, which features a natural zero-entry, a shallow pool area with lots of sand for making castles, a lazy river for the whole family, and a junior slide for younger kids who might not be up for the famous pirate ship slide. Perfect for a family with really little kids! They also popped over to Cape May Cafe for Minnie's Beach Bash character breakfast so the kiddos could meet some classic Disney personalities.
