We did it!! 3 of us conquered the MASSIVE Beaches and Cream at Beach Club Resort’s KITCHEN SINK…proud, shocked, embarrassed but most of all had so much fun!!! This dessert has eight (yup eight!) scoops of ice cream! Chocolate ice cream, strawberry ice cream, coffee ice cream and mint chocolate chip ice cream, all sitting in the kitchen sink that the famous dish is served in along with fudge, strawberries, caramel, pineapple, almonds, Oreos, Snickers, etc. To top off this amazing dessert, an ENTIRE can of Whip Cream is sprayed on top. What comes in the Kitchen sink you ask? 8 scoops of ice cream Brownies Cake Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Snickers Pieces A whole can of whipped cream!! & every other topping they have on hand! Let me tell you, in this case, quantity does not sacrifice the quality! Not only is the Kitchen Sink delicious, but ordering this treat is an entire event. When your Kitchen Sink is brought out, the lights go off, sirens come on & an announcement is made to the entire restaurant! Of all our visits to Disney World, we had never been to the Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort, and it was so cute and delicious, with a cherry on top 🍦 It had the most nostalgic, classic diner feel. One of my favorite parts of dining here was the artwork. When I started talking Disney dining with the C Family several months ago, they definitely wanted to go to Beaches & Cream - home of the Kitchen Sink!! They were ready!! Happy National Cupcake Day! It is not hard to find a great cupcake anywhere you go on Disney property! We got this adorable Scar Cupcake during the spooky season at Disney World as we tried many of the villain themed treats on property. This cupcake was found at one of our favorite Quick Service restaurants in Animal Kingdom, Flame Tree Barbeque. Flame Tree is conveniently located near the center of the park on Discovery Island right before you cross over to Dinoland. Some of our other favorite treats across the property can be found at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Getting here can be a little tricky but is most definitely worth it! We love riding the Skyliner to Epcot's International Gateway and walking to the Beach Club Resort. We rode the bus as well which was fine but the atmosphere and landscape from the Skyliner was more adventurous. While at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, you must get the Kitchen Sink. We actually love the slightly smaller Mickey and Minnie Souvenir Sinks mainly so we can also get a banana split to share too and they will wash the bowl for you to take home when you order the Minnie Sink! Now last but most definitely not least is my all time favorite Disney World treat, the Karamell-Kuche caramel apple. Now this is not just any caramel apple that you can find at any candy shop across Disney property. The caramel apple found in the Germany Pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase is smothered in Werther's Original Caramel and sliced for easy snacking. There are so many delicious caramel treats to choose from but the apple is by far my favorite. So what are some of your favorite sweet treats on Disney property? When I found out I was going to Disney World the biggest thing on my list to try was the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort! It was definitely worth the wait! But of course we had to get lunch as well, so I got a French dip with gator tots and it was amazing! Also the service there was so sweet and incredible! The “Kitchen Sink” at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Trust me, you want it. . What is it? Pound cake and brownies and several kinds of ice cream plus literally every type of topping you could want. Everything but the kitchen sink, as they say, except this sundae is served IN the kitchen sink! . Beaches & Cream Soda shop is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. At this time, it’s reservation only table service. They do have a walk up window but it isn’t currently in service…hope that comes back soon! . Tips for snagging a reservation (& feel free to save for future reference) . 🍨 Check the app at midnight Orlando time when reservations open up. I wasn’t able to score our Beaches & Cream reservation this way but I have seen it pop up and that’s good general “snag a dining reservation” advice. 🍨 Get on the walk up list. Beaches & Cream opens at 11 and if you’re there right at 11, you shouldn’t have too much of a wait. 🍨If you show up at 11 to get on the walk up list, BE HUNGRY & ready to eat. We made this mistake of waiting because we’d just had breakfast and got back on the list at about 12:30. We waited about 2 hours for our table. 🍨If you are staying at Beach Club, finding something to do while you wait is easy. Beaches & Cream is right by the pool. 🍨The Kitchen Sink serves 4 and is $35.
