Surprise! I’m extremely blessed to announce that I’ve been accepted into the Disney College Program for a second program! I’m very thankful for a second opportunity to work within the Disney company and explore more of the wonderful experiences and opportunities provided through Disney programs, this time with no timing restrictions because of finishing school. The past year has given me a lot of clarity in realizing where my heart needed me to be. Being back in central Florida provides the opportunity for being in the heart of my desired industry and can open more doors for networking and professional development. It’s a big step that I am eager to take. I cannot wait to start living the dream, and this time, I hope it’ll be a more permanent relocation. Last week was a really bad mental health week. I was at the UK fish and chips area. Doing my thing, pulling that trash. But then the fireworks were going off I was jamming out, singing and dancing. As I’ve seen the show a few times now I know when the fireworks shoot. So I’d throw my hands in the air or make goofy gestures as they went off. A guest lent over and said I love your energy, it’s people like you that make this place feel like the most magical place on earth. I held back tears as he said this to me. ☆ while attending mnsshp was fun, i had even more fun working the event! looking back on it now, i can easily say that my halloween treat shifts were by far my favorite shifts of my program! the whole shift we just got to hand out massive scoops of candy, bring smiles to the guests, and take in all of the costumes, decorations, sounds, sights, parades, fireworks, and more! plus i always met such amazing people doing them and we (as well as “batain america”) got to do it all over magic kingdom which was so cool!!! we were also there til park close so we got to bid a grim grinning goodbye to the guests who often gave us many treats as well which was so sweet! i was incredibly lucky to get to work as many treats shifts as i did, as they were highly coveted, and i look back on the memories made during them with such joy! ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ #disney #disneyworld #disneycollegeprogram #disneycastlife #halloween #party #mickey #mickeysnotsoscaryhalloweenparty #spooky #fun #candy #trick #or #treat #latenight #bootoyou #bats
