I'm very grateful that my rosebush decided to bloom so gloriously this year. Last year she had only one small flower. I've been going to to spend a little time with her every day lately. Yesterday morning I harvested some blooms that were starting to pass their peak, and made them into the most lovely smelling rosewater. I've wanted to do this for a long time but it's nearly impossible to find untreated roses.
