I had an incredible morning creating sound, humming, meditating and chanting with the incredible Michele from MAs Yoga. This is my second collaboration with Michele, she’s amazing to work with and I will be forever blessed working with her throughout this year. Today, we spent 2.5 hours with 15 beautiful souls, weaving sound through mantras and humming, creating a vocal and sound symphony. Today’s session embraced the spirit of Imbolc, joyfully welcoming the arrival of spring and celebrating the essence of fertility, creativity, and art. Together, we paid heartfelt tribute to the radiant Goddess Bridget, weaving a tapestry of sound, mantras, and humming that resonated through the air. The energy shared among 15 beautiful souls formed a resonant symphony, helping us to forge a stronger head and heart connection, while also deepening our connection to each other. The Holy Well of Saint Brigid in Liscannor, County Clare, Ireland is one of the country’s oldest holy wells. People have pilgrimaged there for centuries for its healing powers. I reflect on the magic of my visit last March as I celebrate Imbolc. It’s one of the eight Celtic Wheel of Year festivals and also Saint Brigid’s Day, which is now a national holiday in Ireland (just as of last year). Both the Goddess and Saint are known as protectors, leaders, and healers. Keepers of the sacred springs, the sacred flame, and the fertile earth. Imbolc is at the midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox. As the winter starts to fade and the earth is awakening from dormancy in preparation for her rebirth, may we all have hope of new and unlimited possibilities. May we gather our energy, tend to the seeds of our vision with focused intention, and strengthen the potency of our gifts. 🌿Pesto di maggiorana e basilico🌿 🌿One of my Imbolc traditions is to make Nettle Pesto with those early spring greens. this year, however, I wasn't able to because I was giving birth, which, funnily enough, is another traditional thing to do at imbolc. 🌿The goddess Brigid is a great celtic Goddess turned Saint whose feast day is Imbolc, and over the last week, I have been feeling her call very strongly. So, as well as making an alter to her, I decided to fulfill my tradition and make Pesto. However, this one is made with basilico and maggiorana, basil and marjoram from my garden 🌿Brigid is a midwife and protector of women and children. Her green cloak is the fecund healing herbs of the Earth. Her tender greens give women the strength to nourish their children with their flowing milk, and I pray this beautiful pesto dedicated to Brigid does the same for mine 🌿I worked with Brigid so much throughout my pregnancy and was so grateful to have her blessings and intercession that when my daughter Rosa was born I asked Brigid to be her patron saint. 🌿Yesterday, I was doing tarot, and now that my daughter can grab objects, I had her pull a card from the deck. She did so all on her own and pulled the card shown in photo three. It shows a young woman weaving a Brigid's cross- a traditional symbol of the life force and protection of the Goddess Brigid. I'll take this as a sign she has accepted my request 🌿🙏Bless you, Brigid
I calmly said to a man who was shouting at me recently, “I’m not leaving my throne to wallow in the trash with you.” (Shouting intensified.) Some of them want a dumpster baby to tantrum with. And that’s okay. That’s how a lot of people work out old issues with their parents, by finding partners that trigger them in similar ways so they can repeat patterns that feel familiar and safe. The wheel of the year turns once again and today marks the fire festival Imbloc. (1-2 February) Imbloc is old Irish which means “in the belly” or “milking” and refers to pregnant Ewes this time of year. It marks the halfway point from Winter Solstice to the Spring Equinox. It may be cold and miserable and the earth is sodden and muddy but if you look closely there are signs that Spring is around the corner. A good time to spring clean your home as it’s also a celebration of the hearth and home. Give away things that are no longer needed do a bit of recycling or go for a walk and look out for signs that the seasons are changing or visit a special place. Or light some candles and say a few heartfelt prayers for the next 11 months or bake some bread. Some people even prepare their gardens for Spring and plant some seeds ready to repotted in the garden once it gets warmer. A time of renewal, transformation, purification, new beginnings and the celebration of the return of the light. ⠀ Happy Imbloc/1st February! x

Bridget was the daughter of The Dagdha and The Morrigan, she was always depicted with wild long red flaming hair, she is known as the Goddess of heart and home, the one who keeps the flames ablaze with in the hearts temple. She is known as the harbinger of new life, harbinger of spring, February 1st is the day of her birth, her most sacred day of remembrance the day of Imbolc. When Bridget was born she had flames surrounding her forehead, they appeared just as the sun rose over the horizon. A golden celestial light surrounded her foretelling of her destiny to be such a light in this world. Bridget started as the bringing of illumination and sunlight to remind us that we’re there is sun there is light and where there is light there is new life, new horizons, new dawns and a golden future. Today I spent time in my garden. I live in Southern California but I’m not from here. So it blows my mind that my plants are still alive. On Tuesday we are hosting Imbolc in our back yard… we will be celebrating the goddess Bridget which is the embodiment of a healthy hearth and home. I’ve been deep cleaning my house and today we got the back yard looking nice. We usually have fresh baked bread and roasted meat over an open flame. Dried fruits and nuts and herbal teas or mead. This weekend was about prepping for it. “I am positive I am open I am limitless” Last night I was on a bonus meditation group call led by my beautiful goddess friend and oh so talented @mediumsarahrenee . We were meditating and there were about 20 minutes left of a 90 minute call. And I was so deep into it that I had no idea my power went out. All the colors and noises ( power trying to come back on ) I just thought were part of it. I thought wow I never went this deep before . This is cool.
