Have you ever seen a horse lay down? It’s still an incredible sight, even seeing it daily. Horses laying down is perfectly natural, though they only do it for short periods of time for sleep. They do much of their napping standing up. However, lying down for extended periods of time can be a sign of illness, and can cause health problems as well. It’s something we watch out for. Comme je n’arrête pas d’en parler vous le savez déjà qu’un mal-être mental peut entraîner des problèmes physiques, mais est-ce qu’il faut se faire du souci pour chaque humeur changeante ? Non pas du tout, des moments moins faciles il y en a toujours et il faut savoir faire la part des choses. C’est à partir du moment où ce changement perdure qu’il faudrait commencer à ce faire du soucis.. Today my horses chose me. They chose to include themselves as I stood enjoying the calmness of the field and listening to the world passing by. We all stood together, one either side sharing each other's energy and grounding and healing together. The rain came in and instead of seeking shelter they both stayed close beside me. We braced with our backs to the elements and celebrated mother nature. A lot of the healings I have done have ended in the same message. We are all so busy doing, we are missing out on being. We arrive at the yard with our long list. We muck out, bring the horses in, pick out Hooves, poo pick, groom, ride feed and leave. The horses are asking us to stop and take a moment to just be. To spend time with them without needing to be active. Lean on the door and watch them, stand in the field with them. Join the herd as they doze in the sunshine. Take that moment to be without any pressure or worries. Take the moment to enjoy your horses presence and allow them to enjoy yours without asking anything of each other. It’s been a while since I’ve posted .. A lot has happened this year including me moving houses a couple of weeks ago (it’s been 9 years so was a pretty big change that I have been trying to make happen for a long time ).. The place I’m staying at over the next 6 months has the most beautiful gardens , I’ve spent a lot of time wandering around and exploring as there is a couple of acres .. From the moment I walked in to see if I wanted to rent it I got a wave of feeling that this is home .. I’m still unpacking but already feel so settled in here .. I’m also surrounded by many horses on properties nearby which just gives it such a beautiful energy .. I’m also feeling inspired to start doing readings and incorporating flower essences into them and looking forward to start these offerings .. The mandala I made from flowers from the garden feels very grounding .. I also feel The crossroads card I picked symbolises that I’m only going to be here a short time before I find my next new place, but during this time it’s going to play a big part in my healing .. Lovely energy healing session with this sweet boy. We weren’t sure if he would be able to fully relax into it in the first session or if a short session may be enough for him, but after a little while he totally let go and lapped up the lovely healing energy. He moved away from me a few times as he needed some time to process before coming back for more! This is why it’s so important to always be guided by the horse, and to check in with them, as there were several times I thought he may have had enough, but he just needed a little space. My big boy wasn't feeling so well, but what blew me away was the depth of love, trust and melting into each other that occurred. As I nursed him something very magical started to happen: our hearts became one, our bodies melded into one another, our breath synchronised, we stared deeply into each other's eyes. Everything slowed down and became so still, yet so filled with aliveness. The places we traveled to arrive at his miraculous healing was profound to say the least. I am continuously blown away at the level these majestic beings meet us at when we are ready to receive and see. Today as I spent time with my horses as I always do at the end of the day, I had a little voice in my head tell me to "look up, pay attention". I did as requested and there he was, majestic and beautiful. He grazed fitfully, pausing regularly to sniff the air and listen to nature around him. Once he was done he melted away as if he had never been there in the first place The Stag represents stamina, verility, grace, instinct and regeneration and is often thought to be a messenger between the earthly and spirit realms. Today my stag brought me the message of time. We all seek to remake ourselves but rushing things almost never provides the outcome we seek.
