The Writer’s Group is a 3-class series for seasonally inspired creative writing. But, as they race through the streets of Asheville, she begins to see the man Carlos has become in a new light and wonder if there’s more to him than she thought! 🩵 This was such a fun story from a new to me author! I enjoyed the race and challenges, and even had some stops that were familiar to me, which added a level of enjoyment! Carlos was a delight! He was super patient with Abbie as she worked through her feelings from the past and I enjoyed seeing how they began to take care of each other as they partnered together! DRUNKEN NOODLES ARE BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! A note from Chef Ray: “Drunken Noodles is a famous noodle dish that originated from the streets of central Thailand to Gan Shan recognition. One of my favorite origin stories of this dish is about the wife of a drunkard who was so tired of her husband’s antics that she spiced up his favorite noodle dish in an attempt to sober up the poor fool. This noodle dish is a sister dish related to Pad Si Ew with a spicier side. Our version is flavored with a chili-garlic paste that’s fried until aromatic and stir-fried with tender slices of BBQ pork and pineapple, perfumed with fresh Thai basil, and married with wide rice noodles, cabbage, and pickled jalapenos.
