APL Logistics Joins Forces to Support the Singapore Cancer Society. We are honored to have been part of the Singapore Cancer Society Relay For Life (RFL) event held this April. This annual overnight event brought the Singapore community together to honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and fight against this devastating disease. Together, we raised an astounding S$13,000, surpassing our targeted donation. A special commendation goes out to our 24 dedicated APLL warriors who participated in the 120km relay. Their unwavering dedication and commendable efforts were truly inspiring. Despite the challenging conditions, they displayed incredible determination, covering an impressive distance. Each warrior gave their absolute best, supporting their fellow warriors and showcasing their resilience. Three of us from ACS(BR)’s parent support group were part of the“ACS - Advocates for Cancer Survivors” school contingent of runners to help complete Singapore Cancer Society’s 100km charity relay. When we left at around 1am, our team had completed 47 laps. It took us 130 laps to complete 100km at Sports Hub! The teachers are amazing! They must have ran through the night to help complete the run! 🏃🏻🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♂️💨💨💨 This initiative to raise funds and put together a contingent is driven by our students under the guidance of their Special Education Needs (SEN) teachers. It is part of the school’s ChangeMaker programme which engages students with SEN who need support to develop their executive functioning skills. The night was not young when we left but we felt alive for being part of an amazing team of teachers who only have a lot of love for our students. #acsforever #relayforlife #singaporecancersociety
