My third and final villain My top Bond villain goes to: Francisco Scaramanga Francisco Scaramanga is pretty much a Reflection of James Bond as a cold blooded killer. Whereas Bond kills for Queen and country, scaramanga kills for money and vanity. For me Scaramanga embodies the traits of a brilliant villain, cold hearted , suave, stylish, mysterious, calculated and come on he has his own villain lair on his own island! However what’s make the character stand out for me is with all his riches he is still a murdering assassin-and like an old western he’s willing to put it all on the line in a one to one stand off to prove who is the best. It’s a beautifully designed car with its jaw dropping good looks which are enhanced by the incredible metallic copper colour with gold accents. It certainly stood out against the snow in its brief, but memorable, appearance in the Roger Moore classic film. For the first time in 25 years I have take my favourite 1:18 scale model version of this car out of its box to display. Made in 1999 the 1:18 scale AutoArt Lotus Esprit model is stunning - the detail is exquisite, down to the colour, the tyres and even the Olin Mark VI skis on the rear ski rack are incredibly produced. Mine looks amazing here - both out of its box, in the wild on a moody spring day and in its custom display case with a “For Your Eyes Only” backdrop. Back in 1999, I paid £29.99 for this model, today they fetch upwards of £350.00! 3 eras of The 007 Diaries - Filming Live And Let Die by Roger Moore. 💀🔥 The original 1973 Pan Books edition, made long before my time and my version used to belong to someone called Normal, who signed and dated his copy back in 1979, 6 years after it’s release. 📚 The 2018 History Press edition which I picked up at the @bondstars Live And Let Die event on June 24th 2018 celebrating the movie and the rerelease of the diaries. 📚 And, the 2023 fine press limited edition by @thehistorypressuk , made to mark 50 years of Live And Let Die, inside a beautifully designed slipcase with art by Mark Levy.
