Funny story! So this morning on our way to school I tell Dillon that I came across an old photo of him with his tball coach and it turns out that that same coach is someone that is heavily involved with Quartz Hill Little League..which is relevant because Isabel played softball this year for the first time and she was originally supposed to play on his team. As a result, we've reconnected with his old coach and frequently chat now at various events. It's been about 11 years since we last had contact. Anyway, this same person (Dillon's tball coach) also has a kid on QHHS wrestling team so again, we've connected with him at wrestling events too. Anyway, so I'm telling him I found this picture of him and his old coach and "isn't that wild?" And then he says to me that the other day his wrestling buddy was telling him that his dad (the tball coach) thinks that I scammed him. Wait! What??? I said "He said his dad thinks I scammed him??!!!" So the kid says to Dillon: "Yeah! My dad said that your mom showed up to a garage sale and she was driving some beat up car and looked homeless and he felt sorry for her and gave her a deal. And then a few days later, she pulled up to tball practice in a nice car and he was like 'I think I just got scammed." 😂 😂 😂 First off, I have no recollection of ANY of this. Secondly, "Hell yeah!!!!! Props to me for scoring a deal! Hey! 50 cents off a dollar is still 50% off!" Im at the laundromat now dressed like I'm looking for a deal.
