I want to start by saying a big thank you to everyone who supported my fundraiser. In total I raised $5,053, whilst donating my hair to the @alopeciaaaaf I am so grateful for those that contributed to reach my goal so that the money can help other children reach theirs ❤️ The funds raised are going to two special places close to my heart. Three quarters of the funds have gone to the @rchmelbourne neurology department where my friend Prof. Andrew Kornberg works with children in this area. I am so happy to be able to contribute to the department to purchase required items to help children. The remainder is going to @rise.theperformanceexperience that will allow young artists to have access to the program. The RISE Performing Arts Dance Program focuses on all styles including jazz, broadway, lyrical, commercial, hip hop and contemporary. This course is for the dancer who enjoys to be challenged in all areas of dance. Mentors include commercial dance choreographers for national and international artists, television, film, Theatre, Stadium and corporate events and includes faculty from Australia and beyond including Broadway Dance centre in New York, the Space TV and BASE Dance Studios London, UK. DAY TWO WAS SO AMAZING! We have deep and rich knowledge and experience in education, mental health and the professional performing arts industry. The RISE team are all trained educators, choreographers, performers, directors, teachers, mindset coaches, mental health experts and mentors. We use our unique skill sets to inform our work and the programs we deliver. We care deeply about each participant in our programs. We establish strong and ongoing connections and wish to follow the journeys of all of our young people.
