I can't help but chuckle at folks who still are regurgitating phrases like, "We're being invaded," or "It's our country." Especially those claiming to be awake. Speaking for myself, I'm not at all bothered by it. Don't get me wrong, I disapprove of government handouts, welfare, and illegal gang violence. Yes, I'm quite aware that there are insurmountable amounts of able bodied fighting age men crossing the border. So why am I not worried? Several reasons. Societal evolution for one. It happens in every century. Celts in Rome. Puritans in Britain/Holland. The Irish coming to America. A group moves into a foreign land, and everyone goes into colonial "patriotic" overdrive to the point of excessive paranoia. All means of compassion or walking a mile in the shoes of a poor immigrant whose country, culture, and politics are currupt and they're genuinely seeking sanctuary from the oppression. The border crisis now stems from multiple scenarios through the decades and centuries, but most recently, Trump's final acts as president waylayed Venezuela with sanctions before he left office. The devastating ripple effects of famine and government curruption prompted the catalyst for mass migration. As for Mexico, America has done that country dirty since our inception. Even the Mexican-American War was instigated under Pres. Polk under a false flag pretenses to get Americans behind the filibustering conquest. Both Grant and Lee, at the end of that war, joined a ma$onic Lodge in Mexico City. That should be a huge red flag to any sane person.
