Went on a little trip to the picturesque village of Castle Combe in the Cotswolds on Saturday. This is such a lovely spot for a picnic, there is also the Manor House hotel where you can have a lovely meal and a local pub, serving food as well as a few coffee shops. The village is a popular location for filming and has appeared in movies like doctor dolittle, war horse and even downton abbey. Harper-Rae loved looking round St Andrews Church, with its beautiful stained glass windows. There were also games on the lawns opposite the Manor House hotel. It does get very busy here so Iโd definitely recommend arriving before noon. There is a car park situated at the top of the hill and public toilets located over the bridge, at the bottom of the village. โจ @moonlightbookbox snuck a peek of their May book pick and I have to say I am SO excited. The book they picked for May is one that is on my shelf in this picture, of course is fantasy, is one I read it last year, and it made me fall in love with the author. The way that this story had me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next was insane. There is so much within this book that I loved, including the representation, the attitude of the female main character, and the main male character and how he ties in to the story.
