First day of fishing in my new town of Pensacola. It was incredibly refreshing and a great sign of what’s to come while catching multiple trout on lures midday. This estuary reminds me a lot of south Texas with its grass flats and crystal clear water. The only difference is there are FAR fewer inshore anglers and waders here as the offshore/nearshore scene is the cream of the crop around here. This leaves the door wide open and much to explore for guys who have the burning passion of chasing trout. It’s going to take me a little time to grow my confidence and knowledge of this new bay system, but the future is most definitely bright. A massive shout out to @captain_evan_wheeler for taking me on a scouting mission yesterday. This guy is pretty much my twin brother and the dude has more @downsouthlures than anyone I know in Texas, haha! Book him if you want to get over here and catch um!
