Ever heard of the 10 minute rule? It's a very loose rule for cooking fish - as the rule says, cook your fillet for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, flipping once during this time. So, if your fillet is 1/2 inch thick, cook for 5 minutes total, or 2.5 minutes per side. Again, this is a loose rule...so double check with your handy dandy instant read meat thermometer!
