All relevant bargain tubs sit with each category & everything is signed to help you easily navigate. 🌵In the adjoining rooms you’ll find all footwear / accessories, by the toy corner. You’ll also find books at the back don’t forget to pick up your free one! 😍 🌵Once you’ve shopped take a load off, have a drink (or two) & a biscuit (or three 🤪) & let your babes play. We are THREE! 🎂🥳🎉🩷🥹 Exactly 3 years ago today we held our first ever pop up sale at the GWC in Barwell. I remember making the booking with the extremely lovely Lesley, getting off the phone & saying to my Mum, well I’ve booked the it, it’s happening, I’m terrified 😂 What an absolute rollercoaster ride it’s been 🎢 I can’t believe 3 years later we are still here, all thanks to every single one of you who has supported us in attending pop ups, donating, selling, sharing & spreading the word… I continue to be ever blown away & grateful for every single one of you 🥹 I’m so thrilled the share with you on our 3rd Birthday that I received an extremely exciting call from BBC Radio Leicester letting us know that from hundreds of nominations we had been shortlisted by a panel of judges to be a finalists for the Green category in their Making A Difference Awards 2024! 🏆 I was actually speechless, I didn’t even know we had been nominated 😭 The BBC will be in attendance for a portion of our pop up on the 1st June to do an interview & film some of the action. No children will be included & any footage which anybody does not want to be shared will not be used. Anything suitable will be used solely for social media / the awards ceremony only. Toy Town 🧸🚂🪁🪀 After a little reminisce yesterday back to when we didn’t even sell toys, I thought tonight would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the insane toys we have coming to our next pop up 😍 Seeing as it’s right at the end of half term, you might be running low on steam, patience, entertainment… sanity?! 🤪 so hopefully some of these amazing picks will help push through those last few days 💙 Characters got us good… 🩷 little Miss Peppa will be making many multiple appearances alongside good old Mr Tumble, even the Teletubbies are bringing back the 90s (yes Teletubbies first aired in 1997!!!) I can’t believe it is still going! I actually have an original Dipsy that I bought sometime in the late 90s, not sure how acceptable it was aged 9, but I loved it 😂 (and there was no technology so 😅🤷🏼♀️) although I did tread on it’s face & so it’s eye is permanently fixed and staring at you which is kinda creepy 🙃 Anyway 😂😂 I often get asked a lot for puzzle & we’ve got those in droves! So many new ones too, which is ideal for me as I don’t have to count all the pieces haha 🤪 alongside some fab baby toys that will keep their senses tingling for hours! I have a confession to make… I may have accidentally forgotten to bring our foot measurer to the last pop up (or two… there’s a lot going on 😂) SO to try and redeem myself 😇 & make it up to all of you beauts who need to measure little feet we’ve upped the anti! 🩷 For our next June 1st Pop up not only will we have the toddler foot gauge, but also the full size scale foot measurer too for all children’s sized feet (and even some adults 😂 not for me though I’m a bloody size 8! I blame my toes 🤪) We will also have a designated foot measuring area within the footwear space - a lovely sign will be clear for you to see 🥰 PLUS we will have the professional Clarks foot measuring guide laminated for you to use alongside a footwear size chart that will also convert any Euro sizing too! I met Freya 3 years ago with a 4 month old baby. I felt out of place and in all honesty felt out my depth at groups and motherhood in general. I’d been to groups before and felt excluded but Freya immediately put me at ease. Over the three years both me and T have grown and Freya has definitely had a part to play in that. We found beautiful bluebells in the Spinney Trail @heritagecentre_ on Monday 🥰 I don’t think they will be around for much longer, so go go go! Mountsorrel and Rothley Community Heritage Centre is a lovely little trip out, especially for anyone who loves trains (I’ve posted before on this 😊). Entrance for adults is £2 and for 2-15 years £1.

It has been another lovely week here at Nurtured Baby and Me 🥰 It was the final week in lots of classes so that meant photo shoots! How amazing is this mummy to beautiful twin girls?! Having twins in baby yoga meant I got to demonstrate swings & dips with a real baby! I can confirm it is a lot harder than with my demonstration doll!! We were very lucky to be joined in baby massage by Danni from @dannijohnsonphotography (photos coming soon). We also recapped the strokes for babies faces and backs. It was so lovely to have the sun shining through the windows in pregnancy yoga. We enjoyed some hip openers, some poses to build strength in the lower body and a beautiful relaxation. In tree babies we enjoyed a lovely stretch followed by some yoga poses including tree pose of course! We also did a mini journaling session and created nature mandalas. Dear mums at groups, Next time you go to meet your friends at a baby group, look out for those mums who maybe new or on their own, who maybe feeling a little nervous about being there or who maybe having a bad day🤱 It's easy to forget sometimes when you’re nattering with your friends, that there may have been a time that you first went to that group on your own. Remember how it felt? How daunting it was. Say hello to that mum on her own, ask her if she's ok. Better yet, invite her over to sit with you and ask her her name and how old her little one is❤ Your kindness maybe the reason she attends again the week after. Dear mum who had a bad experience at that first group, Don't let that experience put you off trying again. I know it took alot to pluck up the courage to go, but I promise you, you will find a group where you love it that much that you want to go back again and again and you will make some wonderful friends that will just get it! How many denim shirts is too many denim shirts…? 👕 Asked nobody EVER because you need one is every shade obviously 🤪😂 A little 2-3 years boys taster for you here my loves 👦💙 Because apparently winter does not want to leave 🙄 we’re stocking up on alllll of the layering pieces & trying in vain to hope that the sun comes out with lots of stripes & short sets. I mean there might be a splatter of Zara 🙊 (obvs) winging it’s way to you too! I believe the BEST thing about shopping with us is that we have every single season covered, we don’t just stock what the weather is suppose to be doing based on the month - we have everything all year round 🥰 (at one pop up in a July once I did only bring summer stuff and left all the wintery / heavy knits / coats at home & all I was asked for was snowsuits & coats 😂 so I never made that mistake again!) because you’re all stashers like me & shop a season ahead 🩷 I often get asked ‘so are you basically like an indoor carboot sale’ 😱 I mean sure there might be some rummaging vibes (who doesn’t like a good rummage! It was tummy week in baby massage and we also recapped the routine from last week for baby’s legs and feet. In sensory play and explore we were ‘Down on the Farm’ playing with farm animal hand puppets, searching for eggs and feathers in the duck nest and rolling tractor over the balance board. The favourite station though had to be the ‘cereal farm’ tuff tray which became a little snack station as well as sensory play! We were unfortunately unable to meet for pregnancy yoga as the hall was unavailable and I made the decision to postpone tree babies due to high winds. I’m really looking forward to seeing these groups next week. Molly and her little one have recently completed my baby massage course and have now joined me for baby yoga. It brings me so much joy when mums return to classes after completing a block. I opted for 2 courses and chose - Main - ✨ Chicken Supreme with New Potatoes, Gremolata & Rainbow Carrots Dessert - ✨ Chocolate and Orange Tart with Raspberry Sorbet The food we received was delicious however we were slightly let down as some of the food arrived to the table cold. 📍 Enlightened Trails After a hugely successful event last year, Enlightened Trails is returning again to Leicester this year! 💫 Hosted in central Leicester at Abbey Park, it will feature a series of magical, outdoor light trails - we visited last year for their Christmas trail and it was phenomenal! Ideal if you’re looking for a sensory filled activity to do with little ones in the evening 🌈✨ There are plans for even more incredible installations this year and it looks as though it’ll be better than ever before! It truly was a magical experience for the whole family when we attended - it’s the perfect opportunity to join together and immerse yourself in an enchanted, illuminated outdoor wonderland!
