嗨大家 今天想要來和大家分享我的大專生計畫小小心得，因為這次的研究比之前都還來得長，而且有蠻多不一樣的體悟哈哈 很開心在大三下有機會申請到大專生計畫，還好有這次的機會，讓我再次理解一些做研究的大小事，發現其實在過程中有存在許多和自己預設不同的事情，那就依序來講講吧！ 1. 實驗 proposal 很多時候都是不太可行的？ 這是我和一些朋友在做計畫的時候，逐漸意識到的事情，在繳交 proposal 時，當下都會覺得自己的計畫很有獨創性，而且充滿很多令人感到新奇的實驗策略，但可能是因為還沒有開始操作或是設計 pre-test，而忽略一些事項或是測試後其實會覺得不妥，導致原先部分的實驗策略其實在計畫期間都會更動，雖然更動並不是件壞事，需要花一些時間思考解決方法或是替代方案，有時候蠻讓人心很累，但也會讓自己學到很多事情，除了可以接觸更多新的方法外，也可以反覆推導自己修正後的方法有無缺漏或是邏輯上的錯誤，當自己反覆試錯之後，回頭看看自己的修正結果，其實會蠻欣慰的，而且也會覺得自己很值得這樣的結果(避免過多的 imposter syndrome)，因為這都是自己花很多時間找資料和思考所產出的成果 2. 研究有時候會侵蝕身心 這個比較像是我自己的部分經驗體悟，完全不是說全部過程都是這樣，因為研究之所以好玩，我認為最重要的就是好奇心和好勝心，對於一個問題想要知道的更多，並且有足夠的信心能夠克服解決問題過程中的困難，不相信自己會做不出來 (在理性思考後的情況，不可以盲目的一直測試哈哈哈)，因為這次的研究計畫時間為期半年，時間較多，可以有很多機會可以和研究題目慢慢磨，但有時候還是會被快要消磨殆盡的情況，我還記得自己有一次差點在顯微鏡室爆氣的情況，因為我的研究除了需要找正確的時期外，也需要找到目標蛋白質，但經過多次的實驗準備後，我首先看到正確的時期結果，而且是很得來不易的完美時間點，但是當我要看有無我的目標蛋白質時，只剩下一毫無秩序關係的背景雜訊，當下真的是很難過和生氣，為什麼會這樣，而且我不覺得有足夠的實驗材料可以做後續的實驗，雖然大約難過了一個禮拜，在過程中最大的收穫，我覺得就是不要再把研究看得很重，雖然口頭說說很容易，但是當自己努力很久和花很多時間產生的成品是一團糟時，不免難過一下，但何不就讓自己暫停一下，除了暫時不要再接觸實驗操作外，也可以好好思考下一步和過好自己原先的生活，感覺短時間內再重複努力做實驗，感覺是沒有什麼效率的事情，當自己心情舒坦後，重新制定方向或是重新種植材料，逐漸讓自己拉回原本的軌道，很開心後來有次實驗又重新得到結果，雖然沒有到之前的結果好，但至少還算可以哈哈 3. 凡事靠自己 雖然這種感受在一開始會覺得很不習慣，需要些許時間才可以接受，因為做研究本來就是一個探索未知的過程，而指導者在過程中，我覺得扮演的角色，也只是大略的指示方向，而實際做的人在中間過程中就有很多事情需要獨立思考和解決，並且不要奢望結果可以有多大的變化，例如全新的知識或創新的結果產生，實驗結果這種東西也是許多合乎邏輯的程序奠基而成，所以不妨在過程中好好探索未知，並且再一次次的 trouble-shooting 的過程培養自己的成就感 目前算是告一個段落，除了報告已經繳交出去，而且也為這個計畫做了一個學術海報，為自己踏出一個新的嘗試～～在這次的研究過程中，真的很感謝許多人的幫助讓我知道什麼是做研究，也更知道自己有很多需要加強的部分，在過程中每次和老師討論都會覺得很開心，一方面是自己都會為了趕報告，增加超多進度，心裡都會滿爽蠻開心的，因為效率很高，另外一方面，雖然每次和老師meeting，結束後自己都會快要精神和肉體抽離（有時候老師講得還比我多，但我還是很喜歡和目前老師的討論感覺，每次一進去討論，老師就會突然劈裡啪啦講，像是講說免疫螢光照片很好看很美（我大專生的主要實驗，可以做很多深入探討的內容（之前差點在顯微鏡室暴怒折玻片的我都覺得有點蠻開心的，整體過程老師就像是觀眾和指導者的角色聽我的報告（或聽我搞笑🥸，即使我再感覺沒有意義的研究都可以被說的很有說服力的內容，真心感謝和佩服老師，研究很多時候不知道是因為imposter syndrome，還是研究過程中有很多掙扎和孤獨，有時候會蠻心累的，但老師都會把我拉回一定程度的正軌上，希望未來依舊要對自己的研究有信心！ #選的大學生活 #公館 #生活 #大學生活 #勉強中 #記錄生活 #生活小記 #讓自己變得更好 #university #life #studynote #liferecord #improving #Routineoftheday
